Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the hardness of a transferred pattern and contrive higher resistances to abrasion, marring, weather, chemicals, solvents, heat or the like, by providing an active metallic oxide layer on a base sheet having a releasable property, and sequentially providing thereon a pattern layer and an adhesive layer. CONSTITUTION:As a base sheet 1, polyethylene terephthalate or the like conventionally used as a base sheet for ordinary transfer materials is used. The surface of the base sheet 1 may be treated with a release agent or the like to impart a releasable property to the base sheet 1. Next, an active metallic oxide layer 2 is provided, by use of a film of an active metallic oxide. Particularly, an active metallic oxide film comprising at least one element selected from the group consisting of aluminum, silicon, titanium, magnesium, zirconium and the like is excellent in transparency, and is suitable for use as a layer constituting a transfer material. The active metallic oxide layer 2 may be provided by applying a hydrate of the metallic oxide to the base sheet 1 by coating or the like, followed by drying and then sintering by irradiation with laser beams. Then, a pattern layer 3 and an adhesive layer 4 are formed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To allow no elution of metallic ions into a film coated by the subject device and also no migration of metallic powder by providing surface of intaglio with a ceramic, and providing at least the edge of a doctor blade with plastic. CONSTITUTION:An intaglio 10 with a plurality of recessed parts 11 and a doctor 31 which fills ink supplied to the intaglio 10 in the recessed parts 11 are provided. Then the surfaces of an internal wall and a bank of the recessed parts in the intaglio 10 are formed using at least ceramics. Also the edge of a doctor blade 32 which constitutes part of the doctor 31 is formed with at least plastic resin. That is, no elution of metallic ions is generated in a film formed by this device, neither migration of metallic powder results. Further, since the intaglio and the doctor blade are chemically stable, the wide choice of types of ink used for the device is possible.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain color filters of a high contrast which are inexpensively produced by simplified stages and have smooth surfaces free from light leakage from boundary parts by forming transparent conductive films on a transparent substrate and arranging a black matrix consisting of black inorg. oxide and colored pixel parts thereon. SOLUTION: The transparent conductive film is formed on the transparent substrate and the black matrix consisting of the black inorg. oxide and the colored pixel parts are formed thereon. The colored pixel parts are preferably formed by an electrodeposition method. The transparent conductive film is preferably obtd. by printing and baking the transparent conductive ink consisting of the org. metal compd. expressed by the formula: N(OH)r (R-CO-CH2 -CO-R')S, n=r+s, a solvent and additives. In the formula, N denotes elements, such as indium, tin, antimony, baron, phosphorus, etc.; R, R' denote substd. allyl group or substd. alkyl group; (n) is the valency of N; (r), (s) denote natural numbers.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To efficiently form a black light shielding plate by coating a liquid dispersion of an inorg. hydrate on a transparent base plate and drying the coating to form the inorg. hydrate film, then dehydrating the inorg. hydrate film by laser irradiation in a desired pattern and forming metallic films to the patterned dehydrate pattern. CONSTITUTION:After the liquid dispersion of the inorg. hydrate is coated on a transparent substrate, the coating is dried to form the inorg. hydrate film. The laser is then projected only on the desired pattern part of the inorg. hydrate film to dehydrate the film instantaneously by the generated heat, by which the dehydrate pattern is formed. The nonirradiated part of the inorg. hydrate is then removed by using an acid, alkali, solvent, etc., to form plating nuclei to the dehydrate pattern. The base plate is further treated by using an aq. acidic soln. or aq. alkaline soln. called as an accelerator after rising, by which the catalyst for plating is reduced and metallized. The transparent substrate is then rinsed and is immersed into an electroless plating layer, by which the electroless plating is executed and the metallic film is formed on the dehydrated film pattern. Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify an adjustment operation for registration by providing optical sensors which detect that a stage loaded with a jig has reached to a position where through holes of the jig are overlapped with register marks by moving relatively to a plate cylinder. CONSTITUTION:Right below a plate cylinder 1, optical sensors 16 are disposed. When a plate 2 is replaced, the plate 2 is wound around the plate cylinder 1 so that edges 31, 32 of the plats 2 are abutted along reference pins 41, 42, 43. After that, movable pins 131, 132, 133 of a stage 12 are made movable, a jig 9 is loaded on a board surface, and the stage 12 is slidingly moved, whereby the plate cylinder 1 is synchronously rotated. When register marks 111, 112, 113 have reached right above the optical sensors 16, the jig 9 is traveled on the board surface to a position where the respective register marks are allowed to be seen through the optical sensors 16, the movable pins 131, 132, 131 are securely abutted against edges 101, 102 of the jig 9, and the jig 9 is detached from the board surface. Therefore, by one registering operation, a registration of printing pattern can be performed between the plate and a body to be printed.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To keep a storage period long, by laminating two or more kinds of reactant ink layers to the predetermined part of a substrate sheet and providing a water-soluble isolation layer composed of a water-soluble resin between the reactant ink layers. CONSTITUTION:Reactant ink layers 2, 4 are formed on a substrate sheet 1 by printing using two or more kinds of reactant inks. Further, an isolation layer 3 is formed between the ink layers 2, 4 by printing. This isolation layer 3 is formed using water-soluble ink based on a water-soluble resin such as polyvinyl alcohol. As the material quality of the sheet, paper, plastic or cloth are used. When a specimen is dripped on this reaction test sheet, the specimen passes through the upper ink layer 4 to reach the isolation layer 3 and, after the isolation layer 3 being water-soluble is dissolved, the specimen solution reaches the lower ink layer 2 to be mixed with two kinds of the reactant ink and predetermined reaction can be developed. In an unused state, since the reactant ink layers are isolated by the isolation layer, both layers are not brought into contact with each other and an storage period can be kept long.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform quantitative judgement of a certain degree with respect to the detection of a specific component, by forming a reactant ink layer to the predetermined part on a substrate sheet so that the amount of ink is successively reduced with a certain definite directionality. CONSTITUTION:A reactant ink layer 2 is formed on a substrate sheet 1 so that the amount of ink is successively reduced with definite directionality. Herein, as the sheet 1, paper, a plastic film, cloth or the like are used. As one embodiment of a reactant, K4Fe(CN)6 is used in order to detect an Fe or Fe ion in the case of inorg. analysis and a p-nitroaniline solution/sodium nitrite solution/potassium carbonate solution is used in order to detect vanyllylmandelic acid in urine. A specimen solution is dripped on a reaction test sheet and, by observing the reaction result with the reactant ink, the presence of the specific component in the specimen solution can be quantitatively judged to a certain degree.

The layer 2 is formed by coating the support 1 with an aqueous solution of a compound represented by formula (MOR1)m(OR2)nXpYq, (M is an element, such as Mg, each of R1 and R2 is H or the like, and each of X and Y is H or the like), hydrolyzing it at normal temperature or near it, and then, heating it, thus permitting the obtained photomask material to be high in durability, good in edge sharpness, high in resolution, and small in surface reflection.
