Abstract: PURPOSE: To raise gasification efficiency and heating efficiency by a method wherein a heating means in which a recording material of a recording material accomodating part is heated to be transferred to a material to be recorded is composed of a heating element which extends at least in a depth direction of the recording material accomodating part. CONSTITUTION: When a head 70 is operated as an actual vaporizer, a molten liquid dye 22 sucked up by a capillary phenomenon from a side surface of a piller-shaped body 175A of a micro-heater is heated at about 50-300 deg.C by the piller-shaped heater part 175A ranging over the whole in a depth direction. The dye 22 is vaporized from an upper part hole 150 of an electrode 85 and around an electrode 84 to be stuck to a material to be recorded, and printing can be carried out on photographic paper without any contact. In that case, the dye 22 permeated around the piller-shaped body 175A can be efficiently heated to be vaporized without fleeing. Further, since the heat is generated by the piller-shaped heating element 175A ranging in a depth direction of a dye accomodating part 87, the heat is held sufficiently over the whole of the dye, and there is hardly any influence caused by diffusion on a base 73.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve efficiency in gasification by transmitting heat efficiently to a recording material by a method wherein a porous structure which holds and feeds the recording material is provided at a position deeper than that of a heating element provided on a surface area of the recording material. CONSTITUTION: A heating element 75 is arranged on a surface area of a liquified dye 22 in a dye-accomodating part 87 of a printer head 70. Therefore, temperature of the liquified gas 22 is quickly raised on the surface area to make thermal efficiency by heating ascend, and efficiency in transfer of the dye by gasification can be improved. Further, a fine meandering pillar-shaped body 80 for holding and feeding the dye 22 is provided as a porous structure at a position deeper than that of the heating element 75 on the surface area of the dye 22 in contact therewith. Therefore, a capillary structure comes to be provided also to a gasification part 77, running away of the dye is inhibited by capillary action to hold the dye effectively and feed a specific amount thereof, and heat by the heating element 75 can be efficiently transmitted.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a stable and highly efficient multiwavelength recording medium in which good recording or reproducing can be performed by stepwize two-photon excitation process without deterioration and to obtain a multiwavelength recording or reproducing device and method therefore using this medium by dispersing zinc tetraphenylporphin and methylene chloride in a supporting material. CONSTITUTION:Zinc tetraphenylporphin (ZnTPP) is used as a light-absorbing dye stuff (photosensitive material) and methylene chloride is used as an electron accepting material. These are dispersed in a supporting material to obtain a multiwavelength recording medium. By combining ZnTPP and methylene chloride, photochemical hole-burning by stepwize two-photon excitation process can be caused at a high gate ratio, which enables good photochemical hole- burning without deterioration in recording. The zinc tetraphenylprophin as the light-absorbing dye stuff in this multiwavelength recording medium is expressed by formula. Any substituents may be introduced onto the dye stuff.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform individual controlling of the condition in which a particle is caused to developing color or decoloring by forming different particles in sizes each comprising a dyestuff which is caused to color or to lose its color when supplied with current and an electrolyte medium which melts to obtain an enough electric conductivity to generate an oxidation reduction reaction in the dyestuff when heated. CONSTITUTION:Voltage is impressed to an electric heat sensitive head 3 from one pole of a power source 4 via a switch 5 and is heated by an electric heating device. The electric heat sensitive head 3 comes into abutment with the largest particle of each group of particles. An electrolyte medium of the particle is then caused to melt to obtain electric conductivity, whereupon the electric current flowing in the particle is controlled by operating the switch 5, whereby developing color or decoloring of the particle is controlled. Each particle is individually caused to developing color or decoloring thereof in order, and fused and permeates a substrate.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable evaluation of, for example, the number of surface catalytic activity points and intensity thereat, especially the number of active acid points and base points of a surface or intensity thereat, by bringing a reaction gas into contact with a magnetic powder to analyze and detect a reactant being generated. CONSTITUTION:A reaction tube 1 is set in an electric furnace 5 and heated with the control by a temperature adjusting means 24. At this point, with the switching of valves, an inert gas as carrier gas from a carrier gas supply source 7 is fed and discharged outside to see that the carrier gas turns to the normal condition. Then, one evaluation sample placement section is selected and a reaction gas is sent to one evaluation sample placement section related thereto together with a reaction gas. A gas containing a reactant generated by contact with the magnetic powder is sent to a column 19 of a gas chromatograph 17. Here, after a specified time passes following the generation of a working signal with a valve controller 23 of a liquid sampling valve 9, a data is obtained from a temperature detection means 25. On the other hand, the reaction gas is supplied to contact with magnetic powder and analyzed and determined by the gas chromatograph 17.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a recording sensibility, by providing a substrate, a reflection layer, a plurality of recording layers, an underlying layer and a spacer layer, and employing a built-up film formed of organic coloring matter and filming substance through Langmuir-Blodgett's method in the recording layers such that the organic coloring matter has an absorption peak in different wavelength region. CONSTITUTION:A substrate is made of glass while a reflection layer is made of Al. Organic coloring matter includes cyanin coloring matter shown by formula I or II, for example, and an undercoat layer and a spacer layer are omega- tricosane layers built up through LB method. Filming material includes a mixture of dioctadecyl dimethyl ammonium chloride and methyl stearate, and arachic acid. The reflection layer and the undercoat layer are provided sequentially on the substrate and a plurality of recording layers are laminated through spacers on the undercoat layer. Since the recording layers are not simply laminated but an undercoat layer and a spacer layer are further provided, the recording sensibility can be improved.
