Abstract:
A yarn winding apparatus for high speed yarn winding has a long spindle (3,8,12) and multiple bobbins (1a-1d) having a reduced diameter. One or both of the bobbin holder (3) and driving shaft (12) are made of a composite layer (5) made of reinforcing fibers and a matrix component and a supporting member (6 or 7) made of metal provided on at least one of an inner surface and outer surface of the composite layer.
Abstract:
A drawn yarn having a durable mechanical and thermal stability in practical use is produced from a fiber-forming polymer by means of a single continuous process. A yarn(Y) extruded from a spinneret (1) is first introduced into a liquid bath (2) for cooling and subsequently to a hot chamber (6) filled with pressurized steam (13) for heat-treatment, in which the yarn (Y) is drawn against a resistance caused by the liquid bath (2). The vessel (3) for the liquid bath (2) is provided with a yarn exit path (4) adapted to allow the passage of the yarn (Y) but inhibit the leakage of the liquid (2) and to remove concomitant liquid from the yarn. The hot chamber (6) is provided with inlet and outlet paths (7,7') for the yarn(Y) also adapted to allow the passage of the yarn but inhibit the leakage of the steam (13). The system is suitable for producing for industrial use a yarn composed of thicker individual filaments.
Abstract:
Ayarn feeding means comprises a yam detaching guide 5 positioned in the vicinity of a positively rotating roller 4 for feeding a yam Y continuously fed from a supply source to a yarn winder 10. The yam detaching guide 5 is capable of selectively occupying either of two positions, one of which is a retractive position where the detaching guide is non-operative to the yarn path and the other is a projective position where the detaching guide is engageable with the yam path to detach the yarn from the positively rotating roller 4. The yam detaching guide 5 holds the yarn Y during the threading operation away from the feed roller 4 whereby the yarn Y can be withdrawn by a standard capacity suction gun even for a feed roller 4 operating at high surface speed. A winder 10 having such a yam detaching guide 5 is also provided.
Abstract:
Yarn package cross-winding appts. has motor for driving winding spindle, the motor being controlled to keep yarn take-up speed constant throughout winding, and second motor for rotating drive shaft of yarn traverse mechanism. The speeds of the shafts are detected for generating respective electrical signals, according to which the second motor is controlled to keep the wind ratio at one or more selected constant values through winding of package. Specifically the wind ratio value is changed stepwise as package build progresses, i.e., as dia. increases, by changing speed of second motor by control signal corresp. to difference between shaft speeds signals and produced by comparator. Pref. speed changes of second motor are effected by an inverter. Pref. winding spindle motor is controlled in accordance with yarn tension detected by sensor. Packages are ribbon-free for use with fast jet looms.
Abstract:
The system to control the winding of yarn on to a bobbin uses a tension sensor to give a periodic measurement of the yarn tension to be compared with a pre-set value which is either constant or proportional to the increasing dia. of the bobbin, so that the rotary speed of the bobbin can be controlled throughout the winding operation. The system gives a continuing monitoring action on the yarn without imposing friction which could lead to abrasive damage of the yarn, and without requiring complex mechanical components to register yarn tension.
Abstract:
A thermoplastic polymer is melt-spun into a spinning tube (S) decompressed to not more than 0.7 atm and withdrawn therefrom to the outer air through a narrow groove (125) provided in a bottom sealing body (E) which substantially seals the interior of the spinning tube (S) from the outer air. The bottom sealing body (E) includes a tubular member (25) with an axial opening which houses a plug (24). Regulating chambers (120, 121) communicating with the groove (125) are controlled to have interior pressures of intermediate values between those of the spinning tube (S) and the outer air, whereby the pressure pulsation of an air stream flowing into the interior of the spinning tube (S) from the outer air through the groove (125) can be avoided. This, in turn, ensures a smooth spinning operation and uniform yarn quality.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem on difficult discrimination of the anomalous package based on the externals of the full bobbins that are wound up in individual yarn-packaging units under the production conditions according to the longitudinal control system, when yarn packages are produced in a yarn package manufacturing facility where a plurality of yarn package manufacturing units are arranged in parallel. SOLUTION: In this yarn packages-manufacturing process, the anomalous package that is allowed to wind up the yarn and doffed although any abnormality has been detected in the production conditions is separated from the normal packages, until the abnormal yarn package is conveyed to the package collection spot or on the way thereto on the basis of the abnormal information in the production conditions of the package.
