Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a molded body whose mechanical strength is comparatively high, by a method wherein a premolded body comprised of a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin whose reinforced resin is oriented in a specific direction beforehand is filled out into a split mold and then melting through heating and molding through pressurization are performed. CONSTITUTION:A bowl-like matter is formed along a cavity 7 with, for example, a top force 1 having a semispherical protrusion 4 and a bottom force 2 having a semispherical recessed part 5 and cylindrical recessed part 3. In this instance, premolded bodies 8, 9 comprised of a fiber-reinforced thermoplastic resin where a short-sized fiber is oriented at random and a premolded body 10 where the short-sized fiber is oriented in a lateral direction and at least an inflow quantity into the cylindrical recessed part 3 are kept formed beforehand. Then when the premolded bodies 10, 9, 8 are put on the bottom force 2 in this order and hot press is performed by moving the top force 1 downward, the major part of the premolded body 10 is caused to flow into the cylindrical recessed part 3 by converting an orienting direction of the short-sized fiber by 90 deg., the premolded bodies 8, 9 fill out into the cavity 7 and become a bawl-like molded body. A molded body whose mechanical strength is high can be obtained like this.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent generation of nap or fiber braking in heating and fluidizing heating medium in oven of fire-resistant treatment and treating for fire resistance by passing precursor yarn through said fluidized bed, by passing the precursor yarn over the heating medium and then passing the yarn through the fluidized bed. CONSTITUTION:Heating medium 5 in an oven treating for fire resistance 1 is heated and fluidized by acidified gas sent through a dispersing plate 8 and a heater 6. At first, precursor yarn 101 is passed over said fluidized bed 5 by guide rolls 14a and 14b, then the precursor yarn 101 is passed through said fluidized bed 5 in buried state by the guide rolls 14a and 14b in a manner of rising level 16 of said fluidized bed 5 or lowering yarn guide 26, thus the yarn is continuously and smoothly subjected to treatment for fire resistance to obtain a fire-resistant yarn 102.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To increase the shearing strength of a thread by making a reinforced fiber bundle into a three-dimensional fiber structure of reinforced fiber bundles formed in three-dimensional knit units in a screw-shaped molded material constituted of a molded material of a fiber reinforced composed material consisting of a matrix and reinforced fiber bundles with screw channels formed thereon by means of a force. CONSTITUTION:As for a matrix to be used, synthetic resin, metal or the like is preferred, and as for the reinforcing fibers, inorganic fibers such as glass fibers or the like and organic fibers such Aramid fibers are used. A three- dimensional structure formed with fiber bundles 17 constituted of three- dimensional knit units. A fiber structure is constituted of reinforced fiber bundles 6 constituting most of three-dimensional knit units 7 oriented in oblique direction and respective reinforced fiber bundles entangled each other and formed in a solid shape. An intermediate material is formed by pressurizing and heating said matrix and reinforced fiber bundles, ant then the threads are formed with a force with screw channels and hardened. The material with high thread shearing strength can be manufactured at low cost by said arrangement.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform stable flame-resisting treatment, by placing sealing means for thermal medium particles at the inlet part for a precursor fibers introduced into a fluidized layer and at the outlet part for the fiber from the fluidized layer and placing a specific flow-controlling member in the sealing means. CONSTITUTION:Sealing means 11 are attached to the inlet part for introducing a precursor fiber 101 into a fluidized layer 5 of thermal medium particles and to the outlet part for the fiber delivered from the fluidized layer. The sealing means 11 has a sealing gas supplying holes 13 and the sealing gas supplied from the holes 13 is blasted through a blasting hole 71 of a circular gas channel. A flow-controlling member 75 to control the flow of the blasted sealing gas is extended parallel to the center axis of the passing hole 70.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten the time for providing precursor fiber with flame resistance, by flattening a precursur fiber assembly to be provided with flame resistance followed by treatment on heating at a specific flattened state. CONSTITUTION:A precursor fiber assembly is flattened using e.g. a free roll, and made to travel through the heating medium fluidized bed 5 in an oven 1 for provision with flame resistance with the width W direction of the flattened fiber bundle essentially vertical whereas the thickness d direction horizontal, thus performing provision of said fiber with flame resistance so that the ratio W/d is >=5. During the above process, fluidization of the heating medium is little hampered, thus accomplishing high heat transfer from said medium to the flattened fiber bundle.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To perform thread guarding as guiding filament yarn freely around a high speed thread guarded spot at a distant position by having a high pressure pump, supplying high pressure liquid, built in a suction gun where plural pieces of nozzles are annularly arranged. CONSTITUTION:First of all, initial filament yarn spun out of a spinning head 32 of a high-speed melt spinning machine is attracted to a thread guide port 3a by the ejector effect made by what compressed air is fed to a nozzle 12 of a compressed air chamber 8 from a feed hose 10, and when it is reached to the rear end of a yarn guide tube 3', high pressure liquid (water) of more than 80kg/cm is fed to a suction gun 1 from a high pressure pump 20 through a feed hose 9, and then it is sprayed out of a nozzle 11 of a pressure liquid chamber 6. With this injection, a speed of more than 4500m/min is generated to the travel filament yarn Y, whereby the yarn is attracted with strong adjoint force, and it is led into a waste yarn processing tank 23 by way of a discharge hose 14. In this state, the yarn is rolled on godet rollers 34, 35 of more than 4500m/min and furthermore on a bobbin 36a of a takeup motion 36. Thus, the filament yarn can be thread-guarded as freely guiding around a high speed thread guarding spot at a distant position.
