    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain high dimension accuracy, long life of a belt and better adhesion with an electrical conductivity layer or the like by manufacturing a seamless belt constituted of a biaxially oriented thermoplastic polyester resin having a given value of dry heat shrinkage factor at a given temperature and a given value of breaking extension in the driving direction. CONSTITUTION:Thermoplastic resin is extruded in the form of a tubular film 1 through a tubular die and cooled, and then heated up to the temperature to be oriented by a ring-shaped sheathed heater 4 between two couples of nip rolls 2 and 3 positioned on the upper and lower sections of said film, and a biaxially oriented tubular film 5 is prepared by orienting the film vertically and laterally at the same time by means of the difference of peripheral speed between the pressure (infration method) generated by the air enclosed in the tubular film and two couples of nip rolls. As said seamless belt is of high dimension accuracy, provided with a long life of belt and of good adhesion with an electrical conductivity layer, dry heat shrinkable factor should be 2% or less at 80 deg.C of the belt temperature and breaking extension should be 95% or less.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent damage by twisting a hollow fiber film fibrous bundle, and dispersing a stress applied at the time when it is bent to a U-shape, in the cartridge for a water purifier, in which the hollow fiber film fibrous bundle is contained in a state bent in a U-shape in the inside case. CONSTITUTION:In the cartridge for a water purifier, an inside case 2, the upper cover 3, and plural filters 4, 5 and plural O-rings 6, 7 are attached to a main body case 1. Also, in the inside case 2, a hollow fiber film fibrous bundle 8 is contained in a state bent in a U-shape, and both its end parts are supported by a potting material 10. Moreover, between the main body case 1 and the inside case 2, activated charcoal 9 is provided. In such a constitution, the hollow fiber film fibrous bundle 8 is formed so as to be twisted. To put it concretely, the hollow fiber film fibrous bundle 8 is twisted within a range of 50-270 degrees. In such a way, pressure applied to the hollow fiber film fibrous bundle 8 at the time of bending in a U-shape is dispersed, and its damage is prevented.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a seamless belt excellent in adhesive properties with an electrically conductive layer, while high dimensional accuracy, flatness and long life are kept by arranging an elastic resin layer inside of the cylindrical film composed of biaxially oriented thermoplastic polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:Pressurized air is introduced into a tubular film obtained by extruding polyethylene terephthalate by an extruder, and a biaxially oriented tubular film is obtained by drawing. Polyester elastomer is similarly extruded by the extruder and is drawn, thereby to obtain a tubular film. The tubular film is cut and is caused to cover a metallic drum 7 as an elastic resin layer 7. Next, the biaxially oriented polyester tubular film is cut and the obtained cylindrical film 6 is caused to cover the metallic drum 7 through the elastic resin layer 8. After two cylindrical films have adhered to each other by heat treatment, they are pulled out from the metallic drum. The cylindrical film is dipped into the conductive adhesive solution containing carbon black, where by carbon film is formed on the inner surface of the cylindrical film.
