PURPOSE: A filter apparatus and the operating method thereof are provided to be effectively applied when the ion concentration is high among the inflow water and improve the efficiency of electricity regeneration of the filter apparatus by reducing the grade of the absorption concentration according to the direction of the flow. CONSTITUTION: The filter apparatus comprises the anode, the cathode, and a pair of ion exchanger which arranged between the anode and the cathode, the fluid path (13), and the ion exchanger (13a) which fills the fluid path. The fluid path positioned between a pair of cation exchange film is spread from the inlet port toward the outlet according to the fluid path. The fluid path has a shape that increases the flow rate per cross section according to the direction of the fluid path. The cross section of the fluid path of the outlet is smaller than the cross section of the fluid path of the inlet. PURPOSE: An organic material absorber and a water purifying filter and a water purifying system including the same are provided to improve absorption of chorine and organic materials. CONSTITUTION: An organic material absorber(10) includes graphite(1). The interlayer distance of the graphite to c-axial direction in x-ray diffraction analysis(CuKA) is in a range between 0.3354 and 0.34 nm. The specific surface area of the graphite is in a range between 100 and 900 m^2/g. The graphite includes pores, and the average diameter of the pores is in a range between 0.1 and 10 nm. The porosity of the graphite is in a range between 0.05 and 1 cm^3/g. The organic material absorber further includes a coating layer(3) on the surface of the graphite. The coating layer includes oxidation resistance materials. The oxidation resistance materials include oxides of fourth family atoms, eighth family atoms, thirteenth family atoms, and fourteenth family atoms, carbides of fourth family atoms, and sixth family atoms, zeolite, or a combination of the same.

PURPOSE: An electrical suction/deionizing device, an electrode for the device and a method of manufacturing the electrode are provided to improve a hydrophilic property since an electrode containing a hydrophobic active-material is electrochemically oxidized. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing an electrode for an electrical suction/deionizing device comprises next steps. An electrode containing a hydrophobic material is electrochemically oxidized in a reaction chamber(11). The electrode further contains binder and a conductive material(12). The electrode is manufactured by a powder type of a hydrophobic active-material.

PURPOSE: A water purifying filter system, a method for regenerating the same, and a water purifying apparatus including the same are provided to increase the life expectance of a filter by electro-chemically sterilizing and regenerating the filter without electrolyte. CONSTITUTION: A water purifying filter system includes a filter unit(100) and a voltage applying unit(200). The filter unit includes a first electrode and a second electrode. The first electrode and the second electrode are oppositely arranged. Either of the first electrode or the second electrode is a filter layer. The voltage applying unit alternately applies a forward voltage and a reverse voltage between the first electrode and the second electrode.

An electrode for capacitive deionization, a manufacturing method thereof, and a capacitive deionization having the same are provided to improve the electric conductance by using a three-dimension supporter and the output characteristic by performing the contact with electrolyte. A manufacturing method of an electrode for capacitive deionization comprises a step for obtaining the polyurethane solution by adding an amphoteric solvent to water dispersible polyurethane; a step for obtaining a composition for forming an electrode active material by mixing an active material, conductive agent, polyurethane solution and amphoteric solvent; and a step for forming an electrode by coating the supporter with an electrode active material composition and drying it.
