    Abstract: According to the present invention, a coenzyme A-dependent succinate semialdehyde dehydrogenase (SUCD) expresses microorganisms on vectors wherein the microorganisms are allowed to efficiently produce a C4 compound, so various C4 compounds can be produced by using modified genes of the microorganism. In addition, producing the C4 compound by the microorganism has an outstanding productivity, so the microorganism is industrially highly applicable.

When comparing and analyzing the expression of the promoter with a conventional gapA promoter, high expression level is maintained not only under an aerobic condition but an anaerobic condition.
