PURPOSE: A metadata restoring apparatus, a system thereof, and a method thereof are provided to restore metadata in a metadata server by using restoring information of metadata in a data server. CONSTITUTION: A data server(120) stores one or more data files and restoring information. The restoring information is information for restoring metadata related to the data files. A metadata server(130) stores the metadata related to the data files. In case the metadata is lost, the metadata server receives the restoring information from the data server. The metadata server restores the lost metadata.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: Metadata management device and method of an asymmetric distributed file system is provided to minimize a phenomenon that the load is focused on a specific metadata server by dispersing all directories and files to metadata servers. CONSTITUTION: A metadata storage(12b) stores the metadata corresponding to the partition of a part of a virtual metadata address space. The virtual metadata address space stores the metadata for directories and files by partitions. A metadata storage manager(12a) stores the metadata in the metadata storage and manages a master map including the information about a part of the partition.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A system for controlling time-based metadata cache coherence and a method thereof are provided to maintain cache coherence by maintaining the coherence between the metadata stored in the metadata cache of a web application server and the metadata stored in database, based on the time of SaaS(Software as a Service) platform. CONSTITUTION: A list entry is selected in metadata cache, wherein the list entry has the same tenant/service ID as the tenant/service ID included in a service request(S125). The return value that the time stamp value of the list entry is subtracted from present time is compared with the timeout value of the list entry(S135). If the result value is smaller than the time-out value, the validity check of the list entry is requested to a data server(S140). The list entry is updated by the acquisition of the metadata of a latest version from the data server according to validity check results(S160).

PURPOSE: A consistency control system and method of a meta data cache in an SaaS platform supporting multi-tenancy are provided to reflect the change of meta data to the meta data cache of a corresponding web application by tracking of a corresponding web application server in the change of the meta data. CONSTITUTION: Web application servers(100~102) respectively include a meta data cache(110~112). In case the saved meta data of the meta data cache is changed, a database(120) traces a corresponding web application. The corresponding web application has the previous version meta data of change-requested meta data. The database transmits the changed meta data to the web application server. The database updates the meta data cache.

PURPOSE: A mobile terminal and a method thereof are provided to transmit service data to a peripheral device through local area wireless network connection are provided to maximize the convenience of a user without deleting the transmitted data. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal(100) uses a local area wireless communication with a peripheral device. The mobile terminal configures a wideband wireless communication network connection by a wideband wireless communication method. The mobile terminal transmits service data to the peripheral device through the wideband wireless communication network.

PURPOSE: A device and method for creating a duplication object by a remote control is provided to move a server object embodying code of a server object prepared in a remote system 1 to another remote system for creating a copying object and to execute the moved server object embodying code without a user's intervention. CONSTITUTION: If a server object registration request is received in a server object processing unit(301), a server object is registered(302). In addition, it is judged whether a copying object of the server object is created(303). In case that a copying object of the server object is created, a copying object process data structure including a packet identifier, a message kind identifier, a target host name, a copying object name, a copying object key, and a server object embodying code necessary to a copying object creating request is created(304). The created copying object process data structure is converted into a packet having a proper type to be transmitted through a network(305), and is transmitted to a network(307) through a communication channel opened in accordance with a used communication protocol(306).

본 발명은 원격 객체 메소드 호출에서 대리 객체의 입력 및 출력 전달 인수 처리 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 관련된 기존의 방법에서는 전달 인수를 처리하기 위해서 별도의 클래스나 변수를 두는 방법을 사용하고 있다. 그러나 이러한 방법에서는 전달되는 인수의 모든 데이터 타입마다 별도의 클래스를 정의해야 하기 때문에 대리 객체의 정의가 매우 복잡하며, 또한 실행 시간이 늦어지는 등의 문제점들이 있다. 본 발명에서는 전달 인수를 처리하기 위해서 전달 인수 목록, 입력 전달 인수 목록, 그리고 출력 전달 인수 목록을 사용하므로써 대리 객체 정의를 단순하게 하며, 실행시의 처리 속도를 빠르게 한다.
Abstract:
The method is for confronting the change of the position to install a printer effectively and for enabling several users to share the printer easily without installing an expensive printer server. The method comprises: the step of connecting a printer to a serial port of NIU(Network Interface Unit) using a terminal server, and allotting a network address and changing parameters to be appropriate to the printer; and the step that a printer demon or a printer spooler of systems forms a stream from a standard input to a communication channel through a network by using a communication socket.
