Abstract: PURPOSE: A throttle valve position sensor monitoring method is provided to achieve improved stability and reliability of engine operation by preventing instability of engine RPM caused due to the abnormal voltage. CONSTITUTION: A throttle valve position sensor monitoring method comprises the first step(S101) of setting a voltage value of a normal state input terminal of a throttle valve position sensor; the second step(S102,S103) of detecting voltage of the input terminal of the throttle valve position sensor in an engine turn-on state; the third step(S104,S105) of judging whether a variation higher than a predetermined level exists by comparing the voltage value set in the first step with the voltage value detected in the second step; the fourth step(S106,S107) of counting the occurrence of variation and judging whether the count is higher than a preset level, if variation exists in the third step; the fifth step(S108) of judging as an abnormal voltage supply, stopping learning of the throttle valve position sensor and outputting alarm, if the count is higher than a preset level; and the sixth step(S109 to S111) of estimating the degree of opening of the throttle valve in accordance with the engine RPM, engine load and air flow and performing an engine control operation.

Abstract: An ECU of a vehicle and a reprogramming method of the same are provided to prevent a calibration ID damage by storing the calibration ID for identifying the data in a RAM programming region even if there is a program error while reprogramming. If a calibration ID requirement is received form a scan tool, the calibration ID stored in a first region of a memory device is transmitted to the scan tool. When the calibration ID is confirmed, all the existing programmed data in a second region of the memory device is deleted, and the data received from the scan tool is written in the second region so as to be reprogrammed.
