    Abstract: PURPOSE: A synchronizer of a manual transmission is provided to prevent a second jam and nibble by continuously applying axial action force on a synchronizer ring until a sleeve is engaged with a clutch gear in the completion time of synchronization regardless of the movable direction of the sleeve. CONSTITUTION: A synchronizer of a manual transmission is composed of gear teeth of synchronizer rings(62,64) comprising first gear teeth and second gear teeth shorter than the first gear tooth and a sleeve(56) including a first teeth row chamber contacting with the first gear teeth of the synchronizer, and second and third teeth row chambers contacting with the second gear teeth of the synchronizer ring, respectively, as the sleeve moves left and right. When the sleeve moves left and right, the second or third teeth row chambers are in contact with the second gear teeth of the synchronizer ring until the first teeth row chamber of the sleeve is engaged with the teeth row chamber of clutch gears(58,59) at the completion time of the synchronization.

CONSTITUTION: A synchronizer for a manual transmission comprises a synchronizer hub(4) having spline join on a main shaft(2) and rotating as one body with the main shaft; a sleeve(6) engaged with a gear unit of the outer peripheral surface of the hub; clutch gears(8) selectively engaged with the sleeve; a speed gear(10) connected with the clutch gears, to transmit the driving force to a driven shaft; synchronizer rings(16) rubbed against the clutch gears, to perform synchronous actions; and synchronizer keys(18) inserted in key grooves of the sleeve, to give axial active force to the sleeve. The synchronizer key comprises a first synchronizer key, giving axial active force to the sleeve at the beginning time of synchronizing, and a second synchronizer key, giving axial force to the sleeve at the finish time of synchronizing. Thus, force acting on the synchronizer rings is continuously maintained.

    Abstract: A hood switch for a vehicle is provided to be made for controlling height of the hood switch, and to solve various problems generated because the hood switch is not pushed down at the time closing a hood. The switch unit includes a casing(41) installed in structure capable of controlling height of the pressure sensing unit with respect to the housing by a predetermined height control unit(70), and a polar plate(42) installed in an inner wall surface of the casing and contacted with or separated from the first connecting terminal. The spring is installed between the pressure sensing unit and the switch unit so as to provide elastic force to the pressure sensing unit. The connector has one end connected to the polar plate by a cable, and the other end including a second connecting terminal(61) and installed inside the housing.
