A polyolefin composition comprising: A) from 90.0 wt% to 99.0 wt%;of a propylene homopolymer; B) from 1.0 wt% to 10.0 wt%; of a propylene, ethylene copolymer composition comprising: b1) from 14 wt% to 52 wt%; of a propylene homopolymer or a propylene/ethylene copolymer; b2) from 48 wt% to 86 wt% of a propylene ethylene copolymer having a content of ethylene derived units ranging from 20.0 wt% to 55.0 wt%; wherein the resulting polyolefin composition has an melt flow rate (230°C/5 kg.. ISO 1133) ranging from 0.2 g/10min to 4.0 g/10min; the sum of amounts of A+B being 100 and the sum of amounts of b1+b2 being 100.

A polymer composition and/or an article containing: (a) a random propylene terpolymer which comprises: (i) 90.0 - 96.0 wt. %, based on the total weight of the propylene terpolymer, of propylene derived units; (ii) 3.0 - 7.0 wt. %, based on the total weight of the propylene terpolymer, of 1- butene derived units; and (iii) 1.0 - 5.0 wt. %, based on the total weight of the propylene terpolymer, of ethylene derived units; and (b) about 0.01 to about 1.0 wt. %, based on the total weight of the propylene terpolymer, of a clarifying agent, with the balance of the polymer composition being the random propylene terpolymer and/or optionally at least one additive.

A propylene-1-hexene copolymer having: i) a content of 1-hexene derived units ranging from 0.6 wt% to 3.0 wt%; ii) melt flow rate (MFR) measured according to the method ISO 1133 (230° C, 5 kg) ranging from 0.5 g/10 min to 5.0 g/10 min iii) the polydispersity (PI) ranges from 4.5 to 10 and the distribution of molecular weight is of multimodal type; iv) the melting point ranges from 160°C to 145°C; v) the DSC curve (temperature/heat of fusion) shows at least two peaks.

Composition comprising (A) from 30 to 60 by weight, of a soft polyolefin composition comprising, 10-50 % by weight of a copolymer (a) of propylene, which copolymer contains from 1 to 8 % of comonomer content; 50-90 wt % of a copolymer (b) of ethylene and other alpha-olefin(s), containing from 57 to 80 % of ethylene; wherein the weight ratio of the content of copolymer component (b) to the fraction XS soluble in xylene at room temperature (about 25 °C), both (b and XS) referred to the total weight of (a) + (b), is of 1.5 or less, and the intrinsic viscosity [η] of the said XS fraction is of 3 dl/g or more; and the total quantity of copolymerized ethylene is preferably from 30 % to 65 % by weight; (B) from 5 to 30 wt % of a glass fiber filler; (C) from 0 to 5 % by weight of a compatibilizer; (D) from 10 to 40 by weight of a polypropylene component selected from propylene homopolymers, propylene copolymers containing up to 5 % by moles of ethylene and/or C 4 -C 10 α-olefin(s) and combinations of such homopolymers and copolymers, wherein the Melt Flow Rate, of the polypropylene component D) is generally from 0.3 to 2500 g/10 min.

Mw/Mn (GPC) equal to or higher than 4. Mz/Mw (GPC) equal to or higher than 2.5. Said polyolefin composition further comprising an inorganic filler (II) selected from flame-retardant inorganic fillers and inorganic oxides or salts and a further elastomeric polymer or polymer composition component (c) having flexural modulus (ISO 178) lower than 60 MPa, Shore A (ISO 868) lower than 90 and Tg (DMTA) lower than - 20°C.

Soft polyolefin composition with improved processability comprising from 8 to 45% by weight of a polypropylene component (A), from 82 to 45% by weight of an elastomeric component (B), and from 10 to 25% by weight of a viscosity reducing agent (C) comprising polybutene-1 and paraffinic wax or grease. The composition is easily processable also by injection moulding and has better tensile properties than compositions in which processability is improved by visbreaking.
