Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a cleaning method realizing the uniform ashing of residue without exerting adverse effect on a mold by uniformly ejecting neutral active seeds of plasma flow toward the inside surface to which vulcanization residue is bonded of a vulcanizing mold. CONSTITUTION: A furnace 18 generating plasma flow based on neutral active seeds by microwave discharge to a reaction gas is provided separately from a vacuum treatment tank 1 to introduce the plasma flow into the treatment tank 1 and the plasma flow is ejeced toward to entire periphery of the rsidue surface of the vulcanizing mold 10 positioned within the treatment tank 1 to perform the ashing of vulcanization residue.

CONSTITUTION:In a method for forming a laminate using two or more plate members, a sheet like article 14 based on an org. resin is interposed between the respective plate members 12 to form a laminate 10 which is, in turn, held between a pressure reducing flexible sheet 16 having self-bonding properties equipped with a pressure reducing hose and the pressure reducing flexible sheet 16 opposed thereto. After the end parts of the flexible sheets are bent, the bent parts are protected by bending and fixing jigs 18 and the space between two pressure reducing flexible sheets 16 is reduced in pressure using the pressure reducing device connected to the pressure reducing hose to heat and/or press the laminate 10 interposed between the pressure reducing flexible sheets 16 to integrate the same.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To cut a light transmitting tube in a desirable length at the time of use and prevent occurrence of peeling at the time of bending the tube by filling the inside of a clad material made of fluororesin with a core material made of methacrylic resin or acrylic resin polymerized with graft polymer and uniting the clad material and the core material. CONSTITUTION:A fluororesin tube 3 in which a graft polymer face of methacrylic acid or acrylic acid monomer is formed in the inner face is used as a clad material, methacrylic acid or acrylic acid monomer is put in the tube and polymerized and the obtained methacrylic resin or acrylic resin is used as a core material. That is, methacrylic acid or acrylic acid monomer is graft-polymerized in the inner face of the fluororesin tube 1 and methacrylic acid or acrylic acid is further polymerized with the graft polymer in the inner face. Consequently, methacrylic acid or acrylic acid monomer is polymerized in the graft-polymer face and thus a light transmitting tube in which methacrylic resin or acrylic resin is firmly connected with the fluororesin is obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To eliminate the possibility of the breakage of a lamp, to simplify the structure, and to obtain the device at low cost by connecting a flexible optical transmission hose to a light source at a place where the influence of vibration is small and providing a light projection part at the other end. CONSTITUTION:The tip, i.e., projection part 2 of the optical transmission hose 1 is fitted to the main body 11 of, for example, a drilling machine 10 opposite the tip of an operation lever 12. An intermediate part of the optical transmission hose 1 is along a power source cord 14 and the other end is connected to the light source 3. This optical transmission hose 1 is formed by putting a viscous liquid, solid, or gelled core in a flexible high polymer clad which has a lower refractive index than the core, sealing both the ends with transparent windows, and coating the outer periphery of the clad with a light shielding jacket. Further, a ferrule is provided at one end which is connected to the light source 3 and a heat shrinkable tube is provided. Thus, the optical transmission hose 1 is connected to the light source 3 installed where the influence of vibration is hardly exerted and photodetected light is projected from the tip to irradiate the tip part of the drilling machine, so there is no adverse influence of the vibration upon lighting effects.

A viscous liq. obtained by blending trioctyl phthalate with a small amt. of an ester plasticizer is used for the core 2. Tricresyl phosphate, octyldiphenyl phosphate, chloroethyl phosphate, etc., alone or their mixture of >=2 kinds are used as the ester plasticizer.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To uniformly treat whole surface of a material to be treated having a shape like block, sphere, or the like without leaving untreated area by rolling the material to be treated in an insulating chamber equipped with electrodes while applying voltage on the electrodes to produce atmospheric pressure plasma for surface treatment. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 2a and grounding electrode 2b are placed on the outer surface of an insulating chamber 1, or electrodes are placed on the outer and inner walls of the chamber 1. The material 4 to be treated is disposed in the chamber 1 while gas (such as argon, nitrogen, and a halogen gas) is supplied to the chamber 1. Then voltage is applied on the electrodes to produce atmospheric pressure plasma (atmospheric glow plasma) in the chamber 1 having almost one atm. Then the material 4 to be treated is made to roll or flow so that the surface is treated with the plasma.
