Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator improved in the heat exchange efficiency of a machine room by the configuration of an air duct structure and a component of the room. SOLUTION: The machine room is divided into an air suction duct 57 side and an air exhaust duct 58 side by a partition plate 55. A finned condenser 36 and an evaporating tray 39 are disposed at the duct 57 side. A compressor 34 is disposed at the duct 58 side. An atmosphere input from one side of a front surface of the room 22 is fed to the duct 58 by a forced ventilation blower 41 through the duct 57. Thus, the room air duct for discharging exhaust heat of the front surface of the room 33 to the other side is formed so that the exhaust heat is not obstructed irrespective of the installing conditions of the refrigerator.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve entire stiffness by simultaneously reinforcing a ceiling part as well as a side surface part. SOLUTION: The box body is provided with a reinforcing member 18 that is joined along a top face plate 25 of a case 24 and a rear face flange 29 and has an extension part 20 and a reinforcing member 31 that is joined at an area to a bent flange 30 rising from the rear face flange 29 along the inner- periphery end of left and right side face plates 26 and 27, thus preventing the case 24 from being deformed by the drag of the reinforcing members 18 and 31 of the side and top surface parts when external force is applied. Then, the entire stiffness of the box body of a refrigerator is improved including side and top surfaces to cope with applied load due to increased size.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve an increase in the housing capacity of a refrigerator as a whole, a conservation of power and easiness in handling of each chamber by cooling a vegetable chamber the highest in the temperature by conduction and radiation heat from the surrounding areas to simplify the structure of a cool air path. SOLUTION: There are arranged independently a cold storage compartment 3 at an upper part of the body 1 of a refrigerator, a low temperature chamber 6 at a lower part of the compartment, a freezer compartment 12 at a lower part of the body 1 of the refrigerator and a vegetable chamber 9 between the low temperature chamber 6 and the freezer compartment 12. The cold storage compartment 3 has a slide door 2, the low temperature chamber 6, the vegetable chamber 9 and the freezer compartment 12 have drawer doors 5, 8 and 11 respectively. A compressor 18 is installed at the rear lowest part of the body 1 of the refrigerator and a cooler 16 behind the vegetable chamber 9. The vegetable chamber 9 is surrounded by the low temperature chamber 6, the freezer compartment 12 and the cooler 16 to be cooled by conduction heat and radiation heat from them. This eliminates a path for sending cool air for forced cooling to the vegetable chamber 9.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize sliding performance by fixing one end of a frame on left and right parts of a rear face of a door in a front face of a refrigerator main body, mounting a movable roller on a rear end of the flame, slidably supporting the movable roller and the frame by a fixed rail and placing an inner case on the fixed roller and the frame. SOLUTION: One end of a frame 2 is fixed on left and right parts of a rear face of a door capable of being freely opened and closed in a front face of a refrigerator main body, a movable roller 3 is mounted on a rear end of the frame 2, a fixed rail 5 for slidably supporting the flame 2 and the movable roller 3 is fixed and mounted on a side wall 4 of an inner box. A side rib 8 slidably supported by the fixed rail 5 is provided with inclinations in two steps in left and right directions, and a side rib A21 is changed into a side rib B22 and a clearance between the frame 2 and the fixed rail 15 in the left and right directions is changed in two steps and an inner case 15 is placed on the fixed roller 6 and the frame 2. By such a constitution, sliding performance of the door is stabilized regardless of magnitude of load.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To mount a shelf device easily in a short time by previously assembling in a frame a driving device, a spur gear, and a sliding member, etc., and inserting a so-assembled article into a refrigerator through a positioning groove in a rail mounted in the refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:Right and left spur gears 5 are simultaneously rotated by a driving device 6 for rotating a gear shaft 4 or a spur gear 5 to move a rack 14b vertically. Hereby, a shelf 1 and a frame are simultaneously smoothly rotated vertically on the left right racks 14b, and also a sliding member 3 moved vertically in a sliding groove 14a in a rail 14 is slid smoothly without being slanted. Further, the driving device 6, the spur gear 5, and the sliding member 3, etc., are previously assembled in the frame 2, and a so-assembled article is inserted into the refrigerator 10 and mounted through a positioning groove 16 in the rail 14 mounted in the refrigerator 10. Thus, the shelf device can easily be mounted in a short time.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To enable an entire opening plane of a thermal insulated box to be utilized for loading or unloading items and to improve a convenience in use by a method wherein a partition member is fixed to an opening edge at a non-pivoted rear surface of a right-left opening type door, partition members for both doors are abutted to each other to make a sealed state within a refrigerator. CONSTITUTION:When a door 7A is closed, side surfaces of both partition members 18 are abutted to each other at a central part while guide projections 22 of the partition plates 18 are positioned near rear parts of guiding surfaces 16 of opposed guides 15 at an upper and a lower edges of an opening 5A of a thermal insulated box 5, and then an interior 8 of refrigerator is kept air tight. When the door 7A is opened, the partition plates 18 are pulled toward the pivoted portion of the door 7A by a spring 27, resulting in that as the door is released, the guide projections 22 are slid on the guide surfaces 16, rotated in a clockwise direction around a holding member 19A and released. When the door 7A is closed, it may operate in opposite to that of the door opening operation. In turn, as the door 7A is closed, the guide projections 22 are guided into the guide surfaces 16 of (-)-shaped recesses of the guide 15. The door is slid on the guiding surfaces 16, whereby when the door 7A is closed, side surfaces of the both partition plates 18 are abutted to each other at a central part near the rear portions.
