Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent printing plate performance from being lowered with time, by sequentially providing a photosensitive resin layer and a silicone rubber layer in lamination on a specified base. CONSTITUTION:The base on which the photosensitive resin layer and the silicone rubber layer are sequentially provided is provided with a covering layer on a rubber elastic body, which covering layer comprises a rubber component and is resistant to solvents. The rubber component in the covering layer may be, for example, a natural rubber or a synthetic rubber (polybutadiene rubber, nitrile rubber, urethane rubber, a polyamide elastomer or the like), which is used singly or in combination of two or more, and is used in the state of being mixed or cross-linked with a thermosetting polymer binder. The most preferable covering layer is one comprising the same rubber component as that in the rubber elastic body, in which case the adhesion of the layer to the rubber elastic body is enhanced. In addition, when the covering layer comprising the rubber component and the polymer binder cross-linked with each other is used, solvent resistance is enhanced, and the range of application of developing liquids at the time of forming the printing plate is widened.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To coagulate and precipitate resin components from a waste solution used for washout of a photosensitive resin printing plate, and to make the drainage of the waste solution after filtration possible, by heating the waste solution slightly. CONSTITUTION:When a waste washing solution, which was formed in the production of a photosensitive resin printing plate, containing BOD, SS, oils, etc. in high concentrations is disposed, the waste washing solution is heated at 30-80 deg.C, preferably 35-60 deg.C. By this heating, resin components in the waste solution are coagulated and precipitated, so that the waste solution can be separated into the resin components and water. The purified water can be drained into a river or the like. Thus, the waste washing solution used for washout of a photosensitive resin printing plate can be purified by a simplified operation.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition capable of forming a printing plate high in developing speed, resolution, flexibility, toughness, and further printing durability, by incorporating a photopolymerizable unsaturated compound, a photosensitizer, etc. into a specified polyamide having polyoxyalkylene segments. CONSTITUTION:A photopolymerizable unsaturated compound (b), by about 5- 20wt%, such as (meth)acrylamide (derivative) or glycidyl-(meth)acrylate is mixed with polyamide (a) containing by 10-70wt% polyoxypropylene or oxyethylene- oxypropylene copolymer segments having a number average polymerization degree of 150-3000, preferably 180-2500. When necessary, further, 0.01-5wt% photosensitizer, such as benzoin or benzophenone, and about 0.001-5wt% thermopolymerization inhibitor, such as hydroquinones or phenols are added to the above components (a)+(b) to form a photosensitive polyamide resin composition, the above percentage being based on the total wt. of (a)+(b).

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve reproductivity of thin lines and small dots, flexibility, toughness, and other characteristics, by incorporating a photo-polymerizable unsaturated compound, etc. with a polyamide polymer base containing a specified amount of polyoxyethylene segments of high molecular weight. CONSTITUTION:A polymer base consists of a polyamide containing polyoxyethylene segments of average molecular weight 150-3000 in the molecular chain by 10-30 weight %. A photopolymerizable unsaturated compound, and when needed, a proper amount of photosensitizer, and/or thermopolymerization inhibitor are incorporated with this polymer base. This photosensitive polyamide resin domposition is formed into a sheet or the like, and leminated on a substrate. This laminate or the non-laminated sheet itself is directly used for a photosensitive resin crinting plate. A negative film is brought into close contact with this plate to expose and develop the plate, thus permitting image lines or the like to be sharply reproduced and a flexible printing plate of improved flatness or the like to be obtained.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the color filter having high transparency and excellent reliability by providing the surface of a substrate with colored layers and protective layer and constituting the protective layer of a specific non-colored polyimide layer and a silicone layer formed thereon. In the formula, R is a tervalent or quadrivalent org. group having >=2 pieces of carbon atoms and R is a bivalent org. group having >=2 pieces of carbon atoms. The film thickness of the non-colored polyimide layer is preferably 0.01 to 0.5mum. Imide modified silicone contg. Si atoms in either of the main chain or side chain in the resin is preferably used as the silicone resin constituting the protective layer to be formed on the polyimide layer.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve durability and solvent resistance of the org. photosensitive body by forming a surface protective layer by bringing the crosslinked polymer particles of a specific acrylic system and a prescribed melamine formaldehyde resin into reaction. CONSTITUTION:This photosensitive body is formed by successively laminating a photosensitive layer formed by using an org. photoconductor (e.g. phthalocyanine deriv.) and the surface protective layer on a conductive layer. The surface protective layer is formed by bringing the crosslinked polymer particles (A) of the acrylic system having a polyoxyalkylene group and hydroxyl group as surface functional groups and the alkyl etherified melamine formaldehyde resin into reaction and curing the same. The particles A are obtd. in the form of an aq. dispersion by subjecting a mixture composed of the acryl monomer having the polyoxyalkylene group and hydroxyl group and if necessary, other vinyl monomers and monomer for crosslinking to emulsion polymn.
