The method for obtaining a full reflection spectrum first obtains an F-matrix from an image generated by picturing an object with a known full reflection spectrum by using the known full reflection spectrum, wherein the F matrix is formed by digitizing response characteristics of the camera, spectrum characteristics of an optical source, and a basis function for the full reflection spectrum.
