Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phase plate in which an artifact on a phase contrast image can be reduced.SOLUTION: A phase plate 100 comprises: a first electrode layer 10 having a first plane 10a and a second plane 10b opposite to the first plane 10a; a second electrode layer 12 having a third plane 12a facing the second plane 10b, and a fourth plane 12b opposite to the third plane 12a; a third electrode layer 14 having a fifth plane 14a facing the fourth plane 12b, and a sixth plane 14b opposite to the fifth plane 14a; a coating layer 20 formed at least on the first plane 10a of the first electrode layer 10. The first electrode layer 10, the second electrode layer 12, and the third electrode layer 14 are arranged in that order from the upstream side of a transmitted wave W1 to be formed into a laminated body with a through hole 2, and the coating layer 20 is made of tantalum, tungsten, rhenium, or molybdenum.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method of generating a graphical representation of players' gaming experience. SOLUTION: The invention relates to approaches for generating the graphical representation of the gaming experience of the player 190. Gaming information representing player activity is first collected. The gaming information includes data obtained from a game log file characterizing a set of game events and a set of images for generating the graphical representation. Images are associated with significance scores determined from at least the collected gaming information. Based on the significance scores, a set of images is selected for use in the graphical representation, and devided into subsets of the images, so that each subset is presented in a respective one of one or more successive presentation units of the graphical representation. The graphical representation can be enhanced by introducing textual annotations and/or sound effects to the images. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for dissolving or disrupting pre-formed or pre-deposited amyloid fibrils and/or inhibiting amyloid formation, deposition, accumulation, or persistence in Alzheimer's disease, prion diseases and/or other amyloidoses in a mammalian subject. SOLUTION: A therapeutically effective amount of nattokinase is administered in the method for treating the Alzheimer's disease, prion diseases and/or other amyloidoses. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for preparing an iridium tip with atomic sharpness. SOLUTION: The method includes steps of tapering an iridium wire to a needle shape and heating the iridium needle in an oxygen atmosphere. Also an iridium needle is provided which has a pyramidal structure which terminates with a small number of atoms. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nucleic acid that can be used to functionally express a heterologous C. rugosa lipase in a common host cell, a lipase having a specific property for industrial applications and a microorganism capable of producing the lipase. SOLUTION: This isolated nucleic acid comprises a mutant DNA encoding a Candida rugosa lipase, wherein the mutant DNA is at least 80% identical to a wild-type DNA encoding the Candida rugosa lipase, and includes at least 12 codons corresponding to CTG codon in the wild-type DNA, each of the 12 codons, independently, being TCT, TCC, TCA, TCG, AGT, or AGC. A chimeric Candida rugosa lipase comprises a substrate interacting domain of a first C. rugosa lipase and a substrate interacting domain of a second C. rugosa lipase. This C. rugosa lipase is encoded by the nucleic acid. This microorganism comprises the nucleic acid. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
