PURPOSE: A display apparatus and a method for adjusting a three-dimensional effect are provided to confirm whether a three-dimensional effect is displayed on a three-dimensional image or not and adjust the three-dimensional effect. CONSTITUTION: A display apparatus comprises a display unit, receiving unit, a transition information calculation unit (121), a depth information calculation unit (123), a three-dimensional image conversion unit (125), and a user interface (UI) generation unit (150). The transition information calculation unit calculates transition information which indicates the difference between left and right eye image signals of a three-dimensional image signal. The depth information calculation unit calculates the first depth information of the three-dimensional image signal. The three-dimensional image conversion unit generates a first depth map. The UI generation unit generates a menu button for adjusting the first depth information. PURPOSE: A device for displaying a stereoscopic image and a method thereof are provided to change pixels of a specific line into black pixels in an RGB(Red-Green-Blue) unit frame, thereby improving the change of a color expression area generated by mixing colors. CONSTITUTION: An image correction unit(210) receives a first image which includes left eye pixels and right eye pixels. The image correction unit generates RGB frames by using the first image. A display panel(230) successively displays the RGB frames. A polarizing member controls a polarization direction so that the polarization direction of the left eye pixels and the right eye pixels of the RGB frames is different. 본 발명에 따른 디스플레이장치는 영상이 표시되는 디스플레이부와; 상기 디스플레이부를 조명하는 상호 상이한 색상의 광을 발광하기 위한 다수의 발광 소자가 소정의 패턴으로 배열된 백라이트 유니트와; 상기 백라이트 유니트에 구동전류를 인가하여 상기 각 발광 소자의 발광 여부 및 광의 세기를 제어하는 구동부와; 상기 백라이트 유니트에서 발광하는 광량을 센싱하는 센서부와; 상기 구동부가 상기 백라이트 유니트에 인가하는 구동전류의 전류레벨을 검출하고, 검출된 상기 전류레벨이 소정의 기준전류레벨 이상인 경우, 상기 센서부에 의해 센싱된 상기 백라이트 유니트의 광량에 기초하여 상기 백라이트 유니트를 조정하도록 상기 구동부를 제어하는 제어부를 포함한다. 이에 의해, 백라이트 유니트에 인가되는 구동전류의 전류레벨을 기준으로 색을 조정하므로, 백라이트 유니트의 노후화 또는 온도에 인해 밝기가 낮아지는 경우에도 색을 조정할 수 있다.

PURPOSE: A shutter glasses and a display system thereof are provided to improve the structure of the polarization direction of a lens unit in which light transmits. CONSTITUTION: A lens unit is rotatably supported in a shutter glasses frame(210) around an optical axis and selectively transmits the light of the polarization direction according to the change of a rotary position. A lens unit electrode(240) is formed in the lens unit so that a voltage for selective optical transmission is applied. A frame electrode(250) is formed in the shutter eye glasses frame to being applied with the lens unit electrode. A shutter control unit(270) selectively applies a voltage in the lens unit through the frame electrode coping with a three-dimensional image which is displayed on the display device. A plurality of at least one of the lens unit electrode and the frame electrode is arranged corresponding to a plurality of rotary positions of the lens unit to apply a voltage according to the rotary position change of the lens unit.

PURPOSE: A three dimensional glasses controlling method and a power controlling method are provided to constantly maintain the polarization direction of a glass part to a specific direction by rotating the glass part based on detected motion information. CONSTITUTION: A glass part(340) is polarized to a specific direction. The glass part includes a rotatable left eye glass(342) and a rotatable right eye glass(344). A driving part(330) rotates the glass part. A motion detecting part(350) detects the motion information of three dimensional glasses. A controlling part(320) controls the driving part to rotate the glass part based on the detected motion information.

CONSTITUTION: A display device comprises a display panel, a sensor(200), and a controller(300). The display panel includes a light-emitting element. The sensor senses the current which flows in the light-emitting element. The controller determines that an external stimulus is applied to the display panel in case the change of sensed current deviates from a preset current variation.
