Abstract: PURPOSE: An inside-vehicle carbon dioxide control system and a method thereof are provided to effectively control the carbon dioxide concentration of a vehicle in consideration of driving condition. CONSTITUTION: An inside-vehicle carbon dioxide control method comprises the following steps. Whether a tunnel is located in the front of a vehicle progress direction or not is determined(S1). If a tunnel is located in the front of a vehicle, a tunnel passing time is predicted(S2). After a vehicle passes a tunnel, the increased carbon dioxide concentration in a vehicle room is predicted in consideration of the tunnel passing time(S3). Before the vehicles enters the tunnel, the air volume flowing in into the inside of the vehicles is controlled in consideration of the predicted carbon dioxide concentration and the present carbon dioxide concentration of the vehicle interior is reduced(S4).

Abstract: PURPOSE: Air-conditioning device and method are provided to maximize the initial cooling-and-heating performance of vehicles by supplying the heat and neighboring latent heat generated in the charging of a battery to the indoor. CONSTITUTION: An air inlet(14) and an air outlet(16) are formed at one side and the other side of a battery case(12). A blower(18) for the suction of external air is installed in the air inlet. An input unit(24) inputs a rechargeable time of a battery(10) and a driving due time of vehicles. Temperature sensors(26,27,28) sense a battery temperature and an indoor temperature. A controller(30) controls the rechargeable time of a battery, on/off of the blower and on/off of a heat exchanger(22).

Abstract: PURPOSE: An air-conditioning system of electric vehicle and method for controlling the same are provided to heat an interior by using the waste heat of an inverter. CONSTITUTION: An air-conditioning system of electric vehicle comprises a blower(10), an inverter(40), an air purifier(20), a second valve(72), and a third valve(73). The inverter receives air from a blower. The air purifier supplies the purified air to the interior space of the vehicle from the blower. The second valve distributes the air, from the blower, to the inverter and air purifier. The third valve discharges the air, passing through the inverter, to the outside of the vehicle or supplies to the air purifier. The air, passing through inverter and air purifier, is provided to the indoor of the vehicle.
