Abstract: An additive formulation suitable for antistatic modification and improving the electrical conductivity of inanimate organic material, consisting essentially of (A) from 1 to 50% by weight of an olefin-sulfur dioxide copolymer, (B) from 1 to 50% by weight of a compound which comprises one or more basic nitrogen atoms and has at least one relatively long-chain linear or branched hydrocarbon radical having at least four carbon atoms or an equivalent structural element which ensures the solubility of component (B) in the inanimate organic material, (C) from 0.1 to 30% by weight of an oil-soluble acid and (D) from 1 to 80% by weight of a high-boiling organic solvent which consists of one or more molecule types, where at least 80% by weight of these molecule types have a boiling point of more than 150° C. at standard pressure, where the sum of all components adds up to 100% by weight.

Abstract: This invention relates to an additive package containing an organic solvent, a detergent additive and a reaction product mixture obtained by reacting a carboxylic acid compound of formula (I): R1COOR2 with an alkanol amine of formula (II): NHR3R4 to form a reaction product containing a polysubstituted alkanol amine derivative, where the reaction is performed by: (a) heating the carboxylic acid of formula (I) to a first temperature; (b) adding thereto the alkanol amine of formula (II) under controlled conditions avoiding an increase of temperature above the first temperature range; (c) maintaining temperature in the first temperature range; and (d) increasing the temperature of the reaction mixture to a second temperature in a second temperature range of 160 to 210° C. and allowing further reaction of residual free carboxylic acid molecules with any reactive group in the reaction mixture.

Abstract: Uso de compuestos fenólicos policíclicos con hasta 20 núcleos de benceno por molécula, que se pueden obtener por reacción de una tetrahidrobenzoxazina I (ver fórmula I) en donde R1 representa un radical hidrocarbilo y R2, R3, R4 y R5 son, de modo independiente entre sí, átomos de hidrógeno, grupos hidroxilo o radicales hidrocarbilo, con uno o varios de los fenoles II iguales o diferentes (ver fórmula II) en donde R7, R8, R9 y R10 son, de modo independiente entre sí, átomos de hidrógeno, grupos hidroxilo o radicales hidrocarbilo, y/o con una o varias de las tetrahidrobenzoxazinas I iguales o diferentes, con la condición de que al menos uno de los sustituyentes presente 13 a 3000 átomos de carbono y los demás sustituyentes, si son radicales hidrocarbilo, presenten cada uno 1 a 20 átomos de carbono, como estabilizantes para la estabilización de material orgánico inanimado contra la acción de la luz, el oxígeno y el calor.
