    Abstract: PURPOSE:To spin yarn in a highly reduced pressure state without deteriorating and damaging the yarn at the yarn outlet part at the bottom of a spinning chimney, by attaching a columnar stopper to the bottom part of the spinning chimney, making a narrow channel in which the yarn can pass along the axial line and setting pressure control chambers opening to the narrow channel. CONSTITUTION:The bottom part of the spinning chimney 6 is provided with the hollow cylindrical member 16 having the narrow channel 25 which can pass the yarn Y and is set along the axial line of an inner peripheral face and the columnar stopper 19 is inserted into the chimney. The pressure control chambers 20 and 21 are set along the outer periphery surface of the columnar stopper 19 in the circumferential direction, the narrow channel 25 is opened, the hole 29 which is connected to the pressure control chambers 20 and 21 and to the top of the columnar stopper 19 is bored and the contractions 22 and 23 of areas are set in the middle of the hole.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the damage of filament in the sealing part at the outlet part of filaments, by using a spinning cylinder having a pressure maintained to a state different from the pressure of the outer atmosphere, providing a fluidically sealed filament outlet part at the lower end of the cylinder and placing a guide for collecting the running filaments at the upstream side of the outlet part. CONSTITUTION:The filaments Y extruded in molten state into the spinneret atmosphere space S maintained in the state of reduced pressure are cooled, collected with the guide 14 and passed through the slit 22 of the filament outlet part. The abrasion damage of the filament at the slit part 22 is decreased. There occurs little oscillation and entanglement of the filament even in the presence of the turbulent flow near the outlet of the filament caused by the air stream flowing into the system through the slit 22.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a high-quality roll product without wrinkles by disposing a bar provided with a pressure reducing chamber and a sucking port, and adsorbing a film to the bar so that the film can be cut in a tense manner without slackening and sticked to a new take-up core. CONSTITUTION:A take-up portion 1 in a film slitter is adapted to roll a film 2 cut to a fixed width round take-up cores 8 mounted on left and right take-up arms 7, and when the core 8 is rolled up, the film 2 is taken up on another roll by operation of a through bar 11. In this case, the through bar 11 has both ends supported on a switch arm 13, and is rotated by a motor. The through bar 11 has two suction paths 18, 19 as pressure reducing chambers axially extended in a space between pipes 16, 17 double-circular in section, and a plurality of suction ports 20, 21 are disposed axially in such a manner as to communicate with the respective suction paths 18, 19. Further, there is provided a groove 22 axially extended between the suction ports 20, 21, so that a cutting edge 23 moved by air pressure can be projected.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent an edge winding-up section from recklessly running, and as well to prevent bad affection to wound-up articles, by providing such an arrangement that a detecting means detects breakage of the edge when the edge is cut off, and a detection signal from the detecting means causes the drive of a slitter to be stopped. CONSTITUTION:A control device 9 compares the winding-up speed of an edge with a signal from a rotational speed detector 13, indicating the winding-up speed of the edge, and therefore, the breakage of the edge 3 is detected when the rotational speed of an edge winding-up roll 5 becomes greater than, by a predetermined amount, the conveying speed of a sheet-like material, that is, the edge is cut off. A signal 10 is delivered to a drive control device 11 which therefore stops the drive of the slitter. Accordingly, the reckless running of the edge winding-up roll 5 may be beforehand prevented, and therefore, no broken edges are wound up, in a large amount, onto a press-contact roll 6 and/or a carrier roll 12.
