    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the title compsn. having excellent permanent antistatic properties and color tone, by blending a thermoplastic polyester with a specified polyether ester amide. CONSTITUTION:99.9-50wt% thermoplastic polyester (A) such as polyethylene terephthalate, polybutylene terephthalate, etc. is melt-kneaded with 0.1-50wt% polyether ester amide (B) derived from a 6C or higher lactam (e.g., epsilon- caprolactam), an aminocarboxylic acid (e.g., 11-aminoundecanoic acid) or a salt of a 6C or higher diamine and dicarboxylic acid (e.g., a salt of hexamethylenediamine and adipic acid) (a), a poly(ethylene oxide)glycol (b) having a number-average MW of 200-10,000 and a 6-20C dicarboxylic acid (c) (e.g., terephthalic acid) and optionally, 0.01-10wt% (based on the amount of the compsn.) metal salt of a sulfonic acid.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition of low stress, outstanding in thermal shock resistance, soldering heat resistance, mechanical properties and moisture resistance, by incorporating an epoxy resin with a curing agent and specific copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The objective composition can be obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. of an epoxy resin (having in one molecule two or more epoxy groups, e.g., cresol novolak type one) with (B) pref. 0.1-10pts.wt. of a curing agent (pref. of phenol novolak or cresol novolak type) and (C) pref. 10-100pts. wt. of a copolymer from (i) ethylene or another alpha-olefin and (ii) an unsaturated carboxylic acid or its derivative (pref. ethyl acrylate, methyl methacrylate, glycidyl methacrylate or maleic anhydride).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:A resin composition having improved rubber elasticity mechanical characteristics and moldability, obtained by blending a specific polyether ester amide with an aromatic vinyl hydrocarbon type hydrogenated block copolymer in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:(A) 1-99pts.wt., preferably 5-95pts.wt. polyether ester amide obtained by polymerizing A1: >=6C aminocarboxylic acid, lactam or salt of >=6C diamine and dicarboxylic acid (e.g., 11-aminoundecanoic acid, etc.,) with A2: a poly(alkylene oxide)glycol[e.g., poly(tetramethylene oxide) glycol, etc.,] having 300-6,000 number-average molecular weight and A3: 4-20C dicarboxylic acid (e.g., terephthalic acid, etc.,) is blended with 99-1pt.wt., preferably 95-5pts. wt. aromatic vinyl hydrocarbon type hydrogenated block copolymer (e.g., polyethylene/polybutadiene/polystyrene triblock copolymer, etc.).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled nondiscoloring polymer of a high degree of polymerization, by mixing epsilon-caprolactam with poly(alkylene oxide) glycol and a dicarboxylic acid at a specified molar ratio at a high temperature and melt- polymerizing the mixture in a high vacuum. CONSTITUTION:epsilon-Caprolactam (A) is mixed with a poly(alkylene oxide) glycol (e.g., polyethylene glycol) (B) of a number-average MW of 300-6,000 and a 4-20C dicarboxylic acid (C) (e.g., terephthalic acid) in such a way that component A is used in an amount 1.1-5 times by moles as large as that which gives a desired proportion of nylon 6 units derived from component A in the total copolymer. This mixture is homogenized by heating at 150-280 deg.C with agitation and is melt-polymerized at 230-280 deg.C in a high vacuum. In this way, the purpose polyether-ester-amide having a content of nylon 6 units derived from component A of 20-85wt% based on the total copolymer can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the titled conjugate fiber having high stretchability and useful for stockings, etc., by carrying out the composite melt spinning using a crystalline polyamide as the low-shrinkage component and a specific polyether ester amide polymer, etc., as the high-shrinkage component. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber can be produced by the composite melt spinning of a high-shrinkage polymer consisting of a polyether ester amide polymer and/or polyether amide polymer derived from (A) a 6-20C aliphatic diamine, (B) a 6-15C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid (essentially equimolar amount to the aliphatic diamine A), (C) a polyalkylene oxide glycol and/or polyalkylene oxide diamine having a number-average molecular weight of 300-2,000 and (D) a 4-20C dicarboxylic acid and a low-shrinkage polymer consisting of a crystalline polyamide. A conjugate fiber having sufficiently high tenacity even at fine denier can be produced without causing the thermal decomposition, foaming, gelatinization, etc., of the elastomer.
