    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide an insulating substrate which has properties, such as heat resistance, dimensional stability under heating, low water absorption properties, flame retardance, and high-frequency characteristics, well-balanced on a high level, is excellent in mechanical characteristics and processibility in, e.g. through- hole making of a circuit board, and is esp. suitable for a thin circuit board.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide superior antistatic properties and duration thereof and also ease of adhesion, coloring properties, ultraviolet radiation screening properties, and the like by incorporating a compound shown by formula I in one surface layer of a fluororesin film having a laminated structure of two or more layers. CONSTITUTION:A laminated fluororesin film having a laminated structure of at least two layers can be functionally improved by having that of three, four, five, or more layers. However, a two- or three-layer laminated structure is found to be more desirable by totally taking a production technique, a quality, a profitability, and others into consideration. A two-layer structure containing a compound shown by a formula I in either layer is most desirable. In the formula I, Ar is aromatic group which may have substituent; (n) is an integer of 1-5; and X is OM (M is hydrogen or salt).

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject film excellent in resistance to moist head while retaining its pressure resistance and electrical properties, by providing the surface of a polyester film with a thin film of specified thickness consisting of a water-soluble or water-dispersible polyester polyurethane resin with the carboxylic acid concentration on its surface at a specified value or higher. CONSTITUTION:This film can be obtained by providing one or both of the surfaces of a polyester film with a 0.01-1mum thin film consisting of a polyester polyurethane resin. This thin film has the following characteristics; elongation at break, =300kg/cm ; and carboxylic acid concentration on the film surface, >=0.008.

CONSTITUTION:In a system where a polyphenylene sulfide molded product exists, the amount of at least one gas selected from among COk, SOl, and NmOn (k is 1 or 2, l, 2 or 3, m, 1 or 2 and n, 1 or 2) and lower aliphatic hydrocarbon generated from the system is measured to estimate deterioration in the polyphenylene sulfide molded product.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a polyester having a stabilized amount and particle diameter of contained particles by carrying out transesterification then adding a phosphorus compound and an alkali metallic compound, further adding an alkaline earth metallic compound and performing polycondensation. CONSTITUTION:An ester-forming derivative of terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol are subjected to transesterification and a phosphorus compound and an alkali metallic compound are then added to the reaction product. An alkaline earth metallic compound is subsequently added to carry out polycondensing reaction. Thereby, a polyester in which main constituent units are ethylene terephthalate is obtained.

CONSTITUTION:Particles subjected to surface treatment with a polyester which is a polyester comprising a dicarboxylic acid and a glycol component wherein >=60mol% total dicarboxylic acid components of the polyester segment are aromatic dicarboxylic acids and 10-40mol% total dicarboxylic acid components are dicarboxylic acids containing sulfonic acid or an alkali metal salt thereof and a glycol component is an aliphatic or alicyclic glycol, b are blended with a thermoplastic polyester. Calcium carbonate is preferably used as the particles which has preferably 0.1-3mum average particle diameter in the case of aiming a magnetic recording medium.
