Abstract: Esta invencion se refiere a un proceso para separar uno o mas productos de degradacion de ligandos de organofosforo, uno o mas subproductos de reaccion, y uno o mas productos a partir de un fluido de producto de reaccion continuamente generado que comprende uno o mas reactivos sin reaccionar, un catalizador de complejo de ligando de metal-organofosforo, opcionalmente un ligando de organofosforo libre, los uno o mas productos de degradacion de ligandos de organofosforo, los uno o mas subproductos de reaccion, los uno o mas productos, uno o mas solventes no polares, y uno o mas solventes polares, mediante separacion de fases, en donde: (i) la selectividad de la fase no polar para el ligando de organofosforo con respecto a los uno o mas productos se expresa mediante una relacion de coeficiente de division Ef1, que es un valor mayor a aproximadamente 2.5, (ii) la selectividad de la fase no polar para el ligando de organofosforo con respecto a los uno o mas productos de 30 degradacion de ligandos de organofosforo se expresa mediante una relacion de coeficiente de division Ef2 que es un valor mayor a aproximadamente 2.5, y (iii) la selectividad de la fase no polar para el ligando de organofosforo con respecto a los uno o mas subproductos de reaccion se expresa mediante una relacion de coeficiente de division Ef3 que es un valor mayor a aproximadamente 2.5.

Abstract: This invention relates to a process for separating one or more organophosphorus ligand degradation products, one or more reaction byproducts and one or more products from a continuously generated reaction product fluid comprising one or more unreacted reactants, a metal-organophosphorus ligand complex catalyst, optionally free organophosphorus ligand, said one or more organophosphorus ligand degradation products, said one or more reaction byproducts, said one or more products, one or more polar solvents and one or more nonpolar solvents by phase separation wherein (i) the selectivity of the polar phase for the organophosphorus ligand with respect to the one or more products is expressed by a partition coefficient ratio Ef1 which is a value greater than about 2.5, (ii) the selectivity of the polar phase for the organophosphorus ligand with respect to the one or more organophosphorus ligand degradation products is expressed by a partition coefficient ratio Ef2 which is a value greater than about 2.5, and (iii) the selectivity of the polar phase for the organophosphorus ligand with respect to the one or more reaction byproducts is expressed by a partition coefficient ratio Ef3 which is a value greater than about 2.5.
