CONSTITUTION:A rotor R of the roller type blood pump P is provided with a tube holding part 1 for temporarily holding the blood tube T at the time of attaching and detaching the tube to and from the rotor R. A tube transfer guide 3 provided with a tube restraining block B at a moving shaft S is built as a part of the pump body between the tube fixing part on the blood inflow part I side of the blood tube and the rotor R. As a result, the roller pump which permits attachment and detachment of the tube to and from the rotor of the blood pump by the rotating power of this roller is obtd.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To offer a method for hemodialysis and an apparatus therefor, under which removal of water can be done without causing such conditions as fall of blood pressure, headache, nausea or vomit, i.e., without giving any burden to a patient. CONSTITUTION:The targeted volume U (ml) of water removal in respect of a patient, the total time T (time) and the ultimate speed Ve of water removal (ml/time) are inputted into the arithmetic section 102 of the computer 100 by operating switches on the keyboard 20. The arithmetic section 102 calculates the speed V1 of water removal from time to time in accordance with the specified speed function f (t) of water removal containing a constant determined based upon the set targeted volume U (ml) of water removal, total time T (time) and ultimate speed Ve of water removal (ml/time). The speed V1 of water removal is converted into the control variable F1 for the water removal pump 12 at the arithmetic section 104 and its signal is inputted into the control unit 106 of the water removal pump 12. As a result, the rotational frequency of the driving motor M, for example, of the water removal pump 12 is controlled and the speed V of water removal of the dialyzator 1 is controlled accordingly.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the artificial dialysis device which blood to be automatically executed and eliminates the danger that air is trapped into the dialyzer and blood circuit during these operations. CONSTITUTION:This artificial dialysis device has an arithmetic control section 10 connected to a blood pump 6 provided between the dialyzer 1 and a washing liquid supply section 7. The arithmetic control section 10 successively calculates the integrated supply liquid volume or weight of the washing liquid from the washing liquid supply section 7 in accordance with the weight of the washing liquid supply section 7 or the forward rotating speed of the blood pump 6 and stops the operation of the blood pump 6 when the integrated supply liquid volume or weight attains the volume or weight of the washing liquid to be desired to be use preset in the arithmetic control section 10.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To measure the concentration of dissolved gas with high precision without being affected by the flow speed of a sample. CONSTITUTION:A dissolved gas sensor 10 consists of a hollow, cylindrical sensor body 11, a well-gas-permeable barrier 12 fixed to the opening at the end thereof, a submersible spacer 13 arranged in the sensor body in contact with the barrier 12, an operating pole 14 arranged in the sensor body in contact with the spacer 13, an opposite pole 16 fitted in a supporting pipe 15 to support the operating pole 14, and electrolyte 17 filled in the sensor body, outside the supporting pipe 15. A pulse voltage applying means 18 applies to the operating pole 14 of the sensor 10, non-electrolysis potential for which no electrolysis occurs and electrolysis potential for which electrolysis occurs, on an alternate basis, to measure a pulse electrolytic current in dissolved gas in a sample, permeating through the barrier, to find the concentration of the dissolved gas.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To determine the cell concentration and cell activity in a cell suspension liquid at the same time by placing a chemiluminescence detector in a detection channel and an absorbance detector in a sample supplying channel, etc., mixing a sample supplied through a sample channel and a reagent supplied through a reagent channel in a mixer and transferring the mixture through the detection channel. CONSTITUTION:A sample liquid S containing suspended cells in injected into a carrier liquid C1 and an ATP extraction liquid R is injected into the carrier liquid before a mixer 11. A luminescent reagent E containing luciferin and luciferase is injected into a carrier liquid C2 and the sample liquid is mixed to the reagent liquid with a mixer 12. A sample channel 2 is joined to a reagent channel 4 and the mixture is passed through the mixer 13 to a chemiluminescence detector 6 and an absorbance detector 7 to determine the ATP concentration and turbidity. The ATP concentration in the cell and the concentration outside of the cell can be separately determined by injecting the ATP extraction liquid R and without using the injection of the liquid.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To judge whether it is necessary to calibrate by humors and to perform correct calibration at low cost by measuring the change of an electromotive force per 1pX of an ion electrode by a standard solution and the change of a response time to a predetermined electromotive force. CONSTITUTION:A sample container 14 storing humors to be measured, for example, blood of an automatic ion electrode measuring apparatus 1 is connected to a suction nozzle 12. When a peristaltic pump Pa is driven, the blood is sent to a sample path 4 within a measuring cell 2. The concentration of ions in the blood is measured by an Na ion electrode 6 and a K ion electrode 8. At every measurement, a peristaltic pump Pb is driven to send a standard solution of a known concentration to the flow path 4 from a tank 32 storing the standard solution of low concentration, so that the electrodes 6, 8 are calibrated. Moreover, a standard solution of high concentration is sent out from a standard solution tank 34 with a predetermined frequency for calibra tion. At this time, if the change in electromotive force of the electrodes 6, 8 and the change in response time to obtain a predetermined electromotive force per 1pX, that is, one concentration change of the standard solution are measured, it is possible to judge whether the electrodes 6, 8 should be calibrated by serum.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To simply measure high concn. hydrazine with good reproducibility by a method wherein potassium nitrate or potassium chloride is added to and mixed with water to be examined containing hydrazine to be measured in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION:Potassium nitrate or potassium chloride is added to water to be examined containing hydrazine to be measured in an amount of 0.012 mol/l or more to be uniformly mixed therewith by a mixer 8 and the redox current of hydrazine is measured with respect to the water to be examined. That is, KCl or KNO3 is preliminarily added to the water to be examined guided from boiler water to be examined guided from boiler water as a support electrolyte to be uniformly mixed therewith by the mixer 8 and contained up to the high concn. corresponding to the concn. of hydrazine being a limit capable of being usually contained in boiler water and, therefore, the linearity of the concn. of hydrazine and a current value is obtained from a low concn. range of about 0 - 20 ppb of hydrazine to a high concn. range of about 10 ppm and hydrazine can be measured with good reproducibility.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent transition current when specimen incorporates a capacitive component and to perform measurement even if the specimen includes a short- circuiting element without trouble, by supplying preparation current under the state wherein ammeters are bypassed in starting measurement. CONSTITUTION:When a capacitive component is included in a specimen X, transition current flows through ammeters I. It takes a long time to attain a balanced state. Therefore, during the preparation period at the beginning of the measurement, a first switch S11 in a resistance measuring circuit I1 and a second switch S21 in a resistance measuring circuit I1 are both turned ON. The current is supplied to the specimen X without through the ammeters I1a and I1b. In this way, a time until a steady state is achieved is shortened. When the specimen is a short-circuiting element, the current through a current limiting circuit IL1 is increased, but a constant voltage element VL1 becomes ON. Since the terminal voltage of a power source is kept at a constant value, measurement can be performed without trouble.
