Abstract:
PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for recommending a program using a rough fuzzy MLP(Multi Layer Perceptron) in an electronic program guide(EPG) application are provided to input viewing tendency of viewers for providing a program recommending service. CONSTITUTION: A personal information setting unit(11) receives personal information of each viewer, and extracts the information of the viewers. A PSIP(Program and System Interrupt)/SI(System Information) confirming and viewing information generating unit(12) confirms PSIP/SI received from the outside, and generates viewing information of the viewers in a certain format if the viewer watches a TV. A database input unit(13) stores the viewing information in a storage unit. A preference information processor(14) converts the viewing information of each viewer stored in the database input unit into input patterns detailed by a fuzzy membership function, and extracts preferred program information having high viewing preference. A picture output unit(15) outputs preferred program information of each viewer.

PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for activating a specific region of MPEG-2 video using MPEG-4 scene descriptor are provided to allow a user to easily access interactive digital broadcasting and increase utilization of additional data. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for activating a specific region of MPEG-2 video using MPEG-4 scene descriptor includes a specific region setting and updating unit(100) for setting a specific region of interactive digital broadcasting MPEG-2 video and updating information about the specific region that varies with time, and a scene descriptor generating and encoding unit(200) for generating a scene descriptor based on the information about the specific region and encoding the scene descriptor. The apparatus further includes a capsulating unit(300) for capsulating the scene descriptor and additional data to be connected to the scene descriptor in MPEG-2 packet, and a multiplexing unit(400) for inserting the capsulated scene descriptor and additional data into the MPEG-2 video data including the specific region.

본 발명은 영상 투영 장치에 대한 색보정 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 영상 투영 장치로 투영면에 투영한 샘플이미지를 영상 획득 장치로 촬영한 촬영이미지를 획득하는 단계와, 상기 샘플이미지의 블록의 색 값과 상기 샘플이미지의 블록에 대응하는 상기 촬영이미지의 블록의 색 값에 기반하여, 상기 촬영이미지의 각 영역에 대한 3D 색 큐브를 생성하는 단계와, 기준 3D 색 큐브를 선택하는 단계와, 상기 기준 3D 색 큐브를 기반으로 하되, 상기 각 영역에 대한 룩 업 테이블을 생성하는 단계와, 상기 룩 업 테이블을 이용하여 상기 영상 투영 장치로 투영될 입력 화상의 색을 보정하는 단계를 포함함으로써, 투영면에서의 입력 화상의 색차를 최소화할 수 있고, 보정절차를 단순화하여 신속성을 보장할 수 있다.

본 발명에 의한 SVC 파일의 스케일러블 계층 단위 송수신방법 및 그 장치는 SVC 파일의 각 프레임에 적어도 하나 이상 포함된 상기 스케일러블 계층의 접근정보를 나타내는 계층 디스크립터를 기초로 상기 SVC 파일의 미디어 데이터에서 적어도 하나 이상의 스케일러블 계층을 추출하여 상기 스케일러블 계층을 기본 단위로 하는 비트스트림을 생성하여 전송하는 SVC 송신단계 및 상기 SVC 송신단계에서 전송된 비트스트림을 수신하여 상기 비트스트림의 전부 또는 일부를 사용자에게 서비스하는 SVC 수신단계를 가진다. 이처럼 본 발명에 의하면 SVC 파일의 메타데이터에 NALU 및 byte단위의 계층 디스크립터를 제공함으로써, SVC로 코딩된 데이터의 스케일러블 계층 단위의 임의 접근을 통한 스케일러블 계층 단위 송수신이 가능하다.

PURPOSE: An apparatus for correcting color for an image projection device and a method thereof are provided to minimize color correction procedure, by performing color correction using one sample image in a single projection or multi projection system. CONSTITUTION: A color correction device acquires a photographing image obtained by photographing a projected sample image in which an image acquisition device is projected (S100). The color correction device generates a 3D color cube by area on the basis of a color value of a block of the sample image and a color value of the photographing image, and selects a reference 3D color cube (S120,S140). PURPOSE: A wireless channel state estimating method, an apparatus thereof, and a coding rate controlling method on a wireless network are provided to estimate a channel state of a wireless network by using additional information including signal strength information, wireless information, and modulating method information. CONSTITUTION: A channel estimator(110) estimates bit error rate by using additional information about a received video packet. The channel estimator estimates channel capacity of a wireless network by using the estimated bit error rate. A decoding unit(120) sets up channel coding rate based on the estimated channel capacity. The decoding unit performs channel coding about the video packet through the wireless network. The decoding unit decodes a video.
