Abstract: PURPOSE: A method of controlling DCT(Double Clutch Transmission) of vehicle is provided to conduct a series of downshifting operations from a current engaged gear to lower gear, thereby preventing the shock and noise from gear shifting. CONSTITUTION: A DCT performs a continuous slip-controlling of a clutch which has been in an engaged stage in a preceding gear at least until a shift gear of a subsequent gear is engaged(S10). The DCT slip-controlling controls the amount of torque transmitted by the clutch in response to a deceleration rate of a vehicle, which increase the amount of torque transmitted by the clutch as the deceleration rate of the vehicle increases. The DCT continuously performs a slip-controlling the clutch, which has been in the engaged state in the preceding gear, all throughout the current gear to the subsequent gear, and performs a shifting to engage the subsequent gear. Abstract: A shift control system of an automatic transmission in a vehicle and a control method thereof are provided to prevent generation of a shift shock by controlling stably a kick-down shift operation in a dead zone. A vehicle speed detection unit(10) detects a vehicle speed from a rotation number of an output shaft of a transmission and supplies the detected value to a control unit(30). A throttle opening detection unit(20) detects an opening state of a throttle valve. The control unit analyzes the vehicle speed and the opening state of the throttle valve by using a shift pattern map in order to determine a target shift stage. The control unit controls shift synchronization to the target shift stage and performs an active shift control according to the vehicle speed and the opening state of the throttle at an FOT(Fast Off Throttle) detection point when an FOT is detected in a dead zone during a kick-down shift process. An actuator(40) is operated according to a duty control of the control unit in order to drive oil pressure of a coupling operation element and a releasing operation element.
