Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a part for an exhaust system for automobile having heat- resistance, rigidity, toughness and resistance to traffic antifreezing agent, by molding a mixture composed of a polyamide such as nylon 6, a higher polyamide such as nylon 11 and an inorganic reinforcing material. CONSTITUTION:The composition for the objective fan is produced by (1) mixing (A) 5-95wt.%, preferably 20-80wt.% of a polyamide containing capramide and/or hexamethylene adipamide as main constituent units (e.g. nylon 6 or nylon 66) and (B) 5-95wt.%, preferably 20-80wt.% of a polyamide (e.g. nylon 11) produced by the melt-polymerization of one or more compounds selected from 11-12C aliphatic amino acid, lactam and an equimolar salt of a 6-12C aliphatic diamine and a 6-12C aliphatic carboxylic acid (excluding hexamethylene diammonium adipate) and (2) compounding 100pts.wt. of the mixture produced by the above method with (C) 0-100pts.wt. of an inorganic filler (e.g. glass fiber).

CONSTITUTION:5-95wt.% polyamide (e.g., nylon 6) consisting mainly of capramide and/or hexamethylene adipamide units is mixed with 95-5wt.% polyamide (e.g., nylon 12) obtained by melt-polymerizing at least one member selected from among a 1-12C aliphatic amino acid, a lactam and a equimolar salt of a 6-12C aliphatic diamine with a 6-12C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid (except hexamethylenediammonium adipate). 100pts.wt. this mixture is mixed with 0-100pts.wt. inorganic reinforcement (e.g., glass fiber), and the obtained mixture is molded into an automobile oil pan.

CONSTITUTION:A polyamide resin composition obtained by adding and blending (C) 0.02-3pts.wt., preferably 0.03-1pt.wt. aromatic amine compound [e.g. 4,4'-bis(4-alpha,alpha'-dimethylbenzyl)diphenylamine] with 100pts.wt. blend consisting of (A) 95-50wt.%, preferably 90-60wt.% polyamide (e.g. nylon 66), produced by melt polymerization and having 2-5 relative viscosity with (B) 5-50wt.%, preferably 10-40wt.% modified polyolefin (e.g. ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer) having one or more kinds of functional groups selected from carboxylic acid groups, carboxylic acid metal salt groups, carboxylic acid ester groups, acid anhydride groups and epoxy groups.
