Abstract: PURPOSE:To accurately verify the system information of each node in a short time by applying multiple address transmission for system information of a node to other node and receiving the result of comparison of system information of other node from other node. CONSTITUTION:In applying multiple address transmission for system information to other node, other node verifies the system information of one node. The result of comparison between the sent system information and the system information of other node is received to discriminate whether or not the system information of its own node is correct. Moreover, when it is discriminated that the information of the transmission node is correct, the correction of data is instructed to a node sending the result of comparison noncoincident with the sent node so as to correct the erroneous system information of other node. Furthermore, when it is discriminated that the sent data is not correct, the transmission right is transferred to the node sending the result of comparison noncoincident with the sent node to allow the other node to send the correct system information with high probability.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease the connecting time of a call even at link busy state by reserving a generated call even when all lines are closed and allocating an idle line to the said call just after one of the lines is idle. CONSTITUTION:When a station 2 being a calling earth station requests the assignment of an idle line to a station 1 being a centralized control station via a satellite for simultaneous communication, the station 2 sends a line assignment request signal (x). When no idle line exists in the station 1, the call corresponding to the signal (x) is reserved. When calls (y, z) to general communication are sent from other station 2, they arrive at times t3, t4. When one of operating lines is finished at a time t5 and the number of the operating lines changes from N to N-1, the station 1 assigns the line to the reserved call, that is, the call sending a line assignment request signal (x) for simultaneous communication.

Thus, circuit integration is attained without remarkable increase in the chip area.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a hardware by applying a common modulator-demodulator circuit using a digital transmultiplexer for inserting a converting circuit, which converts a sampling frequency. CONSTITUTION:A FDM (frequency division multi) signal is sampled by an A/D converter 2 and converted into a digital signal. The FDM signal converted to the digital signal is inputted to a digital transmultiplexer 3 and converted into a time division multi (TDM signal). The digital transmultiplexer 3 channel- separates the inputted FDM signal. Furthermore, after the FDM signal is converted into a based band signal, it is taken as a TDM signal by sampling each channel signal, inputted to an interpolation orthogonalized filter 4, led to a demodulating circuit 5 and a data signal of the plural number of the original channel is demodulated and regenerated.

The encoding part 3 adds a redundancy to transmission information and supplies 7 values (three bits) to art 8 value differential encoder 5. At this time, data supplied to the encoder 5 is 7 values 0 to 7 except 4. The encoder 5 calculates the sum of modulus 8 between data outputted as the preceding conversion value and next supply data from the encoding part 3 and supplies it to a BPSK modulator 7, and 8 phases are selected in accordance with data from the encoder 5, and the signal modulated by these phases is outputted. Consequently, the variance in amplitude of the envelope is reduced, and the reliability of transmission information is improved because Viterbi decoding corresponding to trellis encoding is performed at the time of demodulation.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce a decoding delay time without deteriorating a decoding rate by using at least one data among data inputted newly to each shift register and selecting a survival path this time. CONSTITUTION:A branch metric calculation circuit 9 calculates a branch metric of reception signals r0, r1 received from an input terminal 8 and outputs it to an ACS circuit 10. The ACS circuit 10 selects a maximum likelihood path able to be transited to each state from the path metric calculated by the accumulation of the branch metrics. When a survival path is revised, a Viterbi decoder does not use oldest bit able to be designated when the state is transited as a bit added newly for the revision of the survival path but uses a new bit. Thus, the decoding delay time is reduced more than that of a conventional decoder. A decoding delay time is made equal to a stop length by using a bit at a location representing newest information especially in the coder among bits expressing the state of the transit destination.

The information transferring velocity of each channel is defined as an R, and the frequency interval of each channel is defined as the 2 times frequency interval of, for example, an occupied band width decided based on the occupied band width as a reference. At this time, when setting an intermediate frequency fIF as a 3R, an image frequency interference is not generated, and a good reception can be done. Thus, without complexing the transmitter and the receiver, it is possible to set the maximum frequency shift width comparatively widely, and to improve the frequency using efficiency by optimizing the relation with the frequency interval of the carrier wave as well.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To suppress the mean distortion of a reproducing analog signal by employing such methed to conform a signal obtained by digitizing an analog signal to a bit string representing the signal point of a multivalue modulation signal that a bit with low reproducing distorion sensitivity in a digital signal is allocated to a bit with a high mean error rate in the bit string. CONSTITUTION:An information source encoder circuit 11 inputs the analog signal 100, and outputs the digital signal 110, and a serial-parallel conversion circuit 12 converts the digital signal 110 into a two-bit parallel signal 120 at every n bits. A sequence conversion circuit 13 receives the parallel signal 120 of n bits, and performs the replacement of sequence of the bit based on a prescribed rule. In other words, as the method to respond the digital signal 110 to the bit string representing the signal point of the multivalue modulation signal, such method that the sequence of the signal is converted so as to allocate the bit with the low reproducing distortion sensitivity in the digital signal 110 to the bit with the high mean error rate in the bit string, is employed. Thereby, it is possible to keep the distortion of a reproducing analog voice signal due to a frequently generated transmission error at a low level.

A reception station 2 has a means identifying whether a series of reception signals from the transmission station is the retransmission packet or the new data packet and a means correcting an error included in one frame packet sent by the retransmission packet obtained by the identification means. Thus, number of data packets is increased substantially without increasing the data length of the data packet. Thus, the communication transmission efficiency is improve and the probability of being in dead lock at the sender station side is reduced.
