The detent pin is fixed to the lower part of the rod, is protruded to the rod pipe, and keeps the operated state after R-stage operation. The select bracket in which the end of the detent pin is inserted in R-stage operation of the knob is protruded to one side so that the detent pin is restricted after the operation is finished. The cover housing in which the rod pipe is assembled to be operated to the shift operation pattern of the knob covers the exposed portion. The boot whose lower end is combined to the cover housing and upper end is combined to the rod pipe prevents the exposure to the outside.
