Abstract: A power transmission device for an HEV(Hybrid Electric Vehicle) is provided to control an engine clutch easily and reduce vibration of an engine by forming optimal layout in one space. A power transmission device for an HEV comprises a motor support shaft(12) whose one end is combined to a motor rotor(10); a motor housing(22) surrounding the outer diameter part and left side surface of the motor rotor; an engine clutch(24) arranged in a space between the left end part of the motor housing and the inner end left of the motor; a motor cover housing(28) having a recess on the right side; and a torsion damper(38) separated from the motor rotor. The engine clutch delivers the power between an input shaft of an engine output axle and a transmission. The motor cover housing covers the right side of the motor rotor and the right side of the motor supporting shaft. A torsion damper is positioned in the recess of the motor cover housing.

Abstract: A hybrid power train is provided to increase free degree of a power train design by installing a rotor of a motor independently from a sun gear of a planetary gear set. A hybrid power train comprises an engine, a transmission device(3), a planetary gear set(19), a torsional damper(9), a motor(5), and a clutch unit(25). The planetary gear set includes a ring gear(13), a sun gear(15), and a carrier(17). The ring gear is engaged to an input shaft(11) of the transmission device. The sun gear rotates around the outer peripheral surface of the input shaft. The carrier supports the rotary shaft of a double pinion engaged to the ring gear and the sun gear. The torsional damper is keyed to the sun gear via a spline to transmit power from a crankshaft(21) of the engine. The motor is provided with a rotor(23) keyed to the carrier via a spline and located between the engine and the transmission device. The clutch unit is installed to regulate power between the carrier and the ring gear. A transmission device cover(29) is installed between the planetary gear set and the motor so that the planet gear set and the clutch unit are sealed inside the transmission device cover. The sun gear is formed on a pipe-like sun gear sleeve(31) extending outside the transmission device cover. A needle bearing(33) is installed between the outer peripheral surface of the input shaft and the sun gear sleeves. The torsional damper is keyed to the outer peripheral surface of the sun gear sleeve via a spline. An input shaft supporting bearing(35) is installed between the input shaft and the crank shaft. The clutch unit is a wet type multiple disc clutch where a plurality of clutch disks are contacted with a clutch plate by a hydraulic piston(27).

Abstract: An input shaft structure for a transmission of a vehicle is provided to improve design freedom of the transmission by controlling two oil paths independently. A main path(3) is punched into the input shaft in a length direction of the input shaft. A pipe(5) is inserted into the main path. An oil pump has a motor(9) positioned between an engine(1) and a planet gear set(5). The oil pump is provided inside a rotor(25) of the motor(9) and driven by an output shaft of the engine(1) to provide a hydraulic pressure to a continuously variable transmission(CVT). The output shaft of the engine(1) is connected to the oil pump(19) through a torsional damper, and the rotation shaft of the oil pump(19) is connected to the sun gear of the planet gear set(5).
