    Abstract: PURPOSE:To control the heating of return refrigerant gas to improve energy efficiency by making a suction noise reducing device attached to a cylinder head through a connecting member of synthetic resin, and providing the connecting member as if it floats in space except a pressing-in part where it is pressed into the cylinder head. CONSTITUTION:A closed type transmission compressor is provided with a suction noise reducing device 5, a cylinder head 6 and a connecting member 7 as a circuit to lead refrigerant gas into the cylinder 4 of a compression element 3. In this case, the noise reducing device 5 is formed of synthetic resin, and its end is provided with a gas outlet hole 5a, and the connecting member 7 is fitted in the hole 5a at its one end. The connecting member 7 is moreover pressed-in a hole 6b on the side wall of the cylinder head 6, and prevented from its positional slippage by positioning projections 7a, 7b, and does not come into contact with a valve plate or the wall of the cylinder head 6 in a suction chamber 6a. The connecting member 7 is therefore arrangedly provided as if it floats in a space 8. Thus the connecting member 7 prevents heating caused by another component for preventing the temperature-rise of return refrigerant gas passing its inside.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent the abrasion of a shaft and bearings and improve durability by communicating a compression chamber, formed by a bearing, a shaft, a roller and a vane in a compression mechanical part driven by a motor part, with the shaft sliding faces of the bearings through small holes. CONSTITUTION:When a shaft 13 and a roller 10 are rotated by current application to a motor part 11, refrigerant liquid is discharged into a closed container 2 through a suction pipe 7, and after being agitated, flows into the compression chamber 14 of a cylinder 16 from a suction hole 15. The refrigerant liquid is then force-fed in the compression chamber 14 by the rotation of a roller 17, and discharged from a discharge hole 19 and a discharge pipe 6. In this case, small holes 52, 53 are provided at bearings 50, 51 for supporting the shaft 13 on both sides of the cylinder 16 so that refrigerant liquid pressurized in the compression chamber 14 is fed to the sliding face of the shaft 13 through the respective small holes 52, 53. This results in obtaining a refrigerant pump fit for long time use, with the shaft and bearings prevented from abrasion.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively reduce the noise of a compressor while preventing heat accumulation by forming a soundproof space between a sealed container and an outer container provided in such a manner as surrounding the outside of the sealed container, and filling the soundproof space with a heat transfer fluid. CONSTITUTION:Two circular elastic members 4 of roughly the same bore as the outside diameter of the center portion of the shell of a sealed container 1 are fitted with each other while being separated from each other by a predetermined distance, at the shell portion of the center of the sealed container 1 wherein a compressor which is driven and rotated via a crank shaft 4 by a motor element consisting of a stator 2 and a rotor 3 is installed, and an outer container 15 having an inner surface separated from the sealed container 1 by approximately the wall thickness thereof is provided in such a manner as covering the whole sealed container 1. A soundproof space 16 is thereby defined between the sealed container 1 and the outer container 15 over the whole peripheries of the containers and the soundproof space 16 is filled with a heat transfer fluid (e.g. a fluid sealer, oil). The outer container 15 comprises a center tubular portion 15a and lid-shaped portions 15b, 15c on both sides.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce the coolant staying in a suction chamber and prevent the heating of coolant gas by inserting the communication pipe of a suction muffler formed by the material having a low thermal conductivity into an insertion hole on a cylinder head and forming an opened port opposed to the suction hole. CONSTITUTION:As for a compression element 3 accommodated in a sealed container 1, a cylinder 6 is installed on a cylinder head 4 through a valve plate 5 by a screw N. In this case, an insertion pipe 7 is inserted into a suction muffler 9 made of synthetic resin, and a communication pipe 10 which is integrally molded with the lower part 9b of a suction muffler 9 is allowed to penetrate through the insertion hole 4a of the cylinder head 4, and a part of the pipe 10 is positioned in a suction chamber 4b. The communication pipe 10 is formed into cylindrical form, and the undersurface is formed into an arcuate form so as to contact the undersurface of the suction chamber 4b, and an opened port 10b is formed upwardly from the lower edge at the position faced to the suction hole 5a of the valve plate 5. Accordingly, the thermal influence supplied from the cylinder head 4 is suppressed, and the heating of the coolant gas is prevented, and the volume efficiency is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve assembly work performance and increase volume efficiency by inserting the communication pipe of a suction muffler shaped by the material having the low thermal conductivity in an insertion hole of a cylinder head and installing a cap having the low thermal conductivity on the periphery of a suction hole and the penetration chamber of the cylinder head. CONSTITUTION:As for a compression element 3 accommodated in a sealed container 1, a cylinder head 4 is installed on one edge side of a cylinder 6 through a valve plate 5 by a screw N. In this case, an insertion pipe 7 is inserted into a suction muffler 9 made of synthetic resin, and a communication pipe 10 which is integrally molded with the lower part 9b of the suction muffler 9 is inserted into the insertion hole 4a of the cylinder head 4. A cap 11 is arranged in a penetration chamber 4b, and the communication pipe 10 of the suction muffler 9 penetrates through the insertion hole 4a of the cylinder head 4 and the hole 11c of the cap 11, and a part of the pipe 10 is positioned in the cap 11. Accordingly, the sucked gas is introduced into the suction hole without being warmed by the cylinder head 4 made of metal, and the volume efficiency is improved.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To restrain gas from leaking as well as to eliminate an accumulator by arranging a main bearing through which a crank shaft is penetrated, at the upper section of a compressor section arranged at the lower section within a hermetic case, and thereby immersing the main bearing in refrigerating oil. CONSTITUTION:An electric motor section 2 and a compressor section 5 are arranged at the upper section and the lower section respectively within a hermetic case 1. And a main bearing 8 is arranged at the upper section of the compressor section 5, and a crank shaft 10 is penetrated through the inside of the main bearing 8. And the whole section or a part of the main bearing 8 is located at a position lower than the oil level 13 of refrigerating oil 12. When the compressor section 5 is in operation, gas is sucked in the compressor section 5 through a suction pipe 11 so as to be compressed therein so that it is exhausted out of an exhaust pipe 16 thereafter. At the moment, since a section susceptible to possible leak is immersed in refrigerating oil 12, it is thereby possible to retain gas from leaking into a low pressure space 14.

And the passage of intake gas communicates a gas throat 10a provided for the upper section of the crank shaft 10 with the compressor section 5 via a gas pocket 12 and a suction pipe 11. In addition, the main bearing 8 is immersed in refrigerating oil 14. This constitution allows gas retained in the low pressure space 13 of a hermetic case 1 to be sucked in the compressor section 5 in an oil-free condition.

CONSTITUTION:One end of a volute spring 58 is loosely engaged with a suction hole 57a of a cylinder head 57, as this end of the volute spring 58 surrounds a suction hole 56a of a valve plate 56. Moreover, this volute spring 58 is loosely engaged with the inside diameter of a suction tube 59 fixed to a hermetically sealed case 51. With this constitution, even if the volute spring 58 is formed of an iron material, intake gas in the cylinder can be lowered in its temperature, and can be thickened in its density, freezing ability can be raised, and consequently, the energy efficiency can be raised.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the refrigerating capacity by constructing such that the oil having a lower temperature than that of a cylinder head in a compression element is led to said cylinder head so as to cool the cylinder head, a valve plate, etc. CONSTITUTION:A titled motor-driven compressor has a motor drive element 52 and a compression element 53 supported resiliently in an enclosed casing 51 thereof, and the compression element 53 has a cylinder 54 wherein a suction lead 55, a valve plate 56 and a cylinder head 57 are fixed through bolts 58 to the endface of said cylinder 54. Here, the cylinder head 57 is formed with an approximately V-shaped notch 57b extending from the upper end to the vicinity of the center and a through-hole 57a communicated with a suction hole 56a in the valve plate 56. The communication pipe 60 of a suction muffler 59 is inserted into said through-hole 57a and secured to the cylinder head 57 by means of a steel band 61.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure a rapid pressure drop in a low pressure side port which becomes a driving force for opening a high pressure valve by providing a disk type high pressure valve which can simultaneously close both ports of a high pressure side inlet and a high pressure side outlet on one side while which can close a low pressure side port on the other end face. CONSTITUTION:When starting, a crankshaft 54 is rotated by electrifying a motor-driven element 52, causing a pressure drop in the low pressure chamber 61 of a compression chamber 60. A disk type high pressure valve 77 can close a high pressure side inlet port 72 and a high pressure side outlet port 74 simultaneously on one side while it can close a low pressure side port 72 on the other side. And, even though the clearance between the valve 77 and a valve cylinder 75 is relatively rough, since the high pressure side inlet port 72 is closed, the pressure drop can be securely carried out in a very short time. This pressure drop naturally causes pressure drops in a pressure introducing passage 79, the low pressure side port 76, and the valve cylinder 75. And, a pressure difference between pressure in the high pressure side inlet port 72, i.e., an enclosed container 51 and pressure in the valve cylinder 75, acts on the high pressure valve 77, enabling a secure and rapid valve opening operation.
