    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive a carrier aggregation (CA) configuration for communications on a set of cells. The UE may determine that signals transmitted on the set of cells may be spatially quasi co-located based on the CA configuration and a predetermined relationship rule. The UE may determine that the signals are spatially co-located based on receiving multiple synchronization signal blocks (SSBs) that have a same SSB index, receiving a common SSB, assuming that an SSB and reference signals sourced by the SSB are spatially quasi co-located, receiving a signal from a particular cell of the set of cells, or receiving a common spatial QCL relationship during a configured period of time. Once the spatial QCL relationship is determined, the UE may receive the signals transmitted on the set of cells based on the spatial QCL relationship.

    Abstract: Search space-BFR time occasions may overlap with other search space occasions. Additionally, if any CORESET other than a CORESET-BFR has lowest CORESET ID, the UE will prioritize receiving that CORESET and may miss the BFR response. Accordingly, assigning a priority to CORESETs or search spaces during BFR may be preferable. In an aspect of the disclosure, a method, a computer-readable medium, and an apparatus are provided. The apparatus may allocate a set of time-frequency resources to a plurality of CORESETs or a plurality of search spaces. The apparatus may assign a priority to each of the plurality of CORESETs or the plurality of search spaces. The apparatus may assign a highest priority to a CORESET for BFR or a search space for BFR.

In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determining that a first physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) candidate and a second PDCCH candidate in a control resource set (CORESET) are aligned with each other, wherein the first PDCCH candidate is a common search space (CSS) candidate and the second PDCCH candidate is a UE-specific search space (UESS) candidate; and decode downlink control information in accordance with a selected candidate, of the CSS candidate or the UESS candidate, based at least in part on a rule indicating whether the time-domain resource allocation is to be determined in accordance with the CSS candidate or the UESS candidate.     Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may obtain access to a base station by performing an initial access procedure within an initial access bandwidth. In some cases, the UE may monitor for a cell specific configuration in the initial access bandwidth that indicate one or more first common search spaces within the initial access bandwidth that the UE may monitor for control information. Additionally, the UE may receive dedicated signaling after the initial access procedure that indicates a downlink bandwidth part (BWP) and one or more second common search spaces within the downlink BWP to monitor for control information. Accordingly, the UE may monitor the first common search spaces, the second common search spaces, or both based on the dedicated signaling.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive downlink control information within a control resource set (CORESET) configured with a wideband demodulation reference signal (DMRS) and including disjoint segments of resource blocks (RBs). The downlink control information may be located at least partially within a first segment of the disjoint segments and a second segment of the disjoint segments may be exclusive of the downlink control information. The downlink control information may include a grant of a set of resources for a downlink shared channel that overlaps with the CORESET. The UE may determine a rate matching operation for the wideband DMRS for a downlink shared channel for portions of the set of resources that overlap with the second segment of the disjoint segments, and receive the downlink shared channel on the set of resources according to the determined rate matching operation.
