Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may receive, from a base station, a first tracking reference signal configuration and a second tracking reference signal configuration. The first tracking reference signal configuration may include a first set of parameters and the second tracking reference signal configuration may include a second set of parameters. The UE, the base station, or both may identify an indicator for selection from among the first tracking reference signal configuration and the second tracking reference signal configuration. The UE may receive, from the base station and based on the identified indicator for selection, a tracking reference signal in accordance with the first tracking reference signal configuration or the second tracking reference signal configuration.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a power headroom (PHR) value for a component carrier (CC) based at least in part on a physical uplink shared channel (PUSCH) transmission in the CC, wherein the PUSCH transmission includes a first repetition associated with a first set of power control parameters and a second repetition associated with a second set of power control parameters, and wherein the PHR value is determined based at least in part on one or more of the first repetition or the second repetition. The UE may transmit information identifying the PHR value for the CC. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: In some implementations, a method of wireless communication includes obtaining, at a user equipment (UE), an allocation of frequency resources for a group common demodulation reference signal (GC-DMRS) associated with a plurality of UEs that include the UE. The method also includes receiving, at the UE from a base station, a frequency domain resource allocation (FDRA) for a physical downlink shared channel (PDSCH) scheduled for transmission to the UE. The method includes receiving, from the base station, the GC-DMRS and the PDSCH. The method also includes generating a channel estimate based on the GC-DMRS and the allocation of frequency resources to the GC-DMRS. The method further includes demodulating the PDSCH based on the channel estimate. Other aspects and features are also claimed and described.

Abstract: This disclosure relates to sidelink carrier aggregation and cross-carrier scheduling indications in sidelink control information (SCI). In one aspect, a transmit UE may configure a multi-component carrier grant including a plurality of component carriers for a physical sidelink share channel (PSSCH). The transmit UE may further transmit, one or both of a set of first SCI each including a single component carrier grant corresponding to one component carrier from the multi-component carrier grant and associated with scheduling information of the one component carrier, or a second SCI including the multi-component carrier grant and associated with scheduling information of the plurality of component carriers. In another aspect, a receiver UE may receive the transmitted one or both of the set of first SCI or the transmitted second SCI.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) transmission-specific cancellation or validation are provided. In one aspect, a user equipment (UE) receives, from a base station (BS), a plurality of semi-persistent scheduling (SPS) configurations. The UE monitors for an indication of whether a first SPS transmission is to be transmitted in a first SPS resource, the first SPS resource being associated with a first SPS configuration of the plurality of SPS configurations, the indication being specific for at least one of the first SPS resource or the first SPS configuration. The UE refrains from monitoring the first SPS resource based on the monitoring for the indication.

Abstract: Wireless communications systems and methods related to transmission of reverse-link grants for anchor based sidelink communication are provided. A first user equipment (UE) determines a plurality of reverse-link grants for a respective plurality of UEs. The first UE transmits first sidelink control information (SCI) over a physical sidelink control channel (PSCCH). The first SCI may indicate whether user data follows in the physical sidelink shared channel (PSSCH). The first UE transmits a demodulation reference signal (DMRS) and second SCI over the PSSCH. The second SCI comprises the plurality of reverse-link grants in a block. The second SCI is rate matched from a start of the PSSCH, instead of from the DMRS. Alternatively, a third SCI is introduced after the second SCI, with the second SCI starting with the DMRS and the third SCI being rate matched from the start of the PSSCH and including the block of reverse-link grants.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. To support a reliable array response for wideband communications, a base station may configure a set of transmission instances for a set of signals distributed across a wideband carrier bandwidth. At least one transmission instance of the set of transmission instances may be configured in each sub-band of the carrier bandwidth. The base station may transmit the set of signals in the configured transmission instances to a user equipment (UE). The UE may receive the set of signals distributed across the carrier bandwidth and may measure, for the signals, a set of signal measurements corresponding to the set of sub-bands. Based on the signal measurements, the UE may determine a set of communication beams for the set of sub-bands. Using one or more of the determined communication beams, the UE may communicate with the base station in the carrier bandwidth.

Abstract: Monostatic radar (314) with progressive length transmission may be used with half-duplex systems or with full-duplex systems to reduce self-interference. The system transmits a first signal (350) for a first duration (302) and receives a first reflection (324) of the first signal from a first object (316) during a second duration (304). The system transmits a second signal (352) for a third duration (306) longer than the first duration and receives a second reflection (328,330) of the second signal from a second object (318) during a fourth duration (308). The system calculates a position of the first object and the second object based on the first reflection and the second reflection. The first signal, first duration, and second duration are configured to detect reflections from objects (316) within a first distance of the system. The second signal, third duration, and fourth duration are configured to detect reflections from objects (318) between the first distance and a second distance from the system.
