Abstract: A locking mechanism and a locking method of a probe card, and a probe apparatus are provided to change a locking power of the probe card in a driving device simply. A locking mechanism of a probe card includes an insert ring, a lock ring(13), a lever(14), and a driving device. The driving device has a spring mechanism(15) and a pressing mechanism(17). The spring mechanism provides the lever with a pressing power. The pressing mechanism is connected to the spring mechanism and expands and contracts the spring mechanism. When the pressing mechanism releases compression power of the spring mechanism, the pressing mechanism provides the pressing power from the spring mechanism to the lever and rotates the lock ring. The locking mechanism holds the probe card in the lock ring and the insert ring and locks the probe card by lifting the probe card through rotation of the lock ring by the driving device.
