    Abstract: PURPOSE: An error detecting device of a periodic driving system, a processing device including the periodic driving system, an error detecting method of the periodic driving system, and a computer program are provided to understand a difference between an error situation and a normal situation sufficiently regardless of deterministic or probabilistic values, thereby detecting the error of the periodic driving system accurately. CONSTITUTION: A data acquisition unit(31) acquires time series data from a data logger. A condition setting unit(32) sets a condition for detecting an error. A translational error operation unit(33) calculates a translational error from the time series data. A probability distribution output unit(34) calculates the probability distribution of the translation error. A histogram preparation unit(35) prepares the histogram of the probability distribution. An error determination unit(36) determines the error of a periodic driving system by comparing the prepared histogram with a normal sound model histogram and an error sound model histogram.
