Abstract:
PURPOSE: A fault optical network unit detection method using data transmission error detection in a GPON(Gigabit-capable Passive Optical Network) is provided to detect a fault ONU(Optical Network Unit) using detection of a generated data transmission error when light of the ONU connected to an OLT(Optical Line Terminal) is transmitted in the GPON. CONSTITUTION: A MAC(Medium Access Control) layer monitors traffic by using a GEM(GPON Encapsulation Method) header of a GTC(GPON Transmission Convergence) frame. The MAC layer finds an ONT(Optical Network Terminal) which data is not delivered. The MAC layer assigns an upstream bandwidth of the ONT with other method which is not round-robin. PURPOSE: A distributed advance resource reservation method for blocking data collision in a wireless USB(Universal Storage Bus) network is provided to offer a new private DRP(Distribution and Replication Protocol) reservation method using a two-hop DRP availability IE. CONSTITUTION: A wireless USB host obtains MAR usage availability information from a specific wireless USB device. The wireless USB host collects three-hop range hidden private DRP reservation state information based on the obtained information. The wireless USB host selects a MAS slot which is not overlapped based on the collected reservation state information. The wireless USB host adds a beacon to a DRP IE by transmitting the DRP IE for a wireless USB channel to the wireless USB device.

PURPOSE: A distribution cooperation protocol method based on a multi-hop UWB(Ultra-WideBand) network for marine telematics is provided to avoid interference generated by a device, which is moved in multi-hop environment, or a plurality of devices, which performs data transmission. CONSTITUTION: When interference or mobility, which is generated by nodes which are existed beyond a communication range, is generated, a new resource allocation information element is generated by using a DRP IE(Distributed Reservation Protocol Information Element) and a DRP availability IE in a channel selection process. The DRP IE and the DRP availability IE are collected from all nodes within the communication range. When DT(Direct Transmission) is selected, a source node performs a DRP reservation negotiation process defined by a WiMedia standard. When RT(Relay Transmission) or CT(Cooperative Transmission) is selected, the source node generates a CoopDRP IE.

PURPOSE: A high speed encoding-decoding algorithm is provided to implement a high speed system by simply configuring a structure of a decoder. CONSTITUTION: Decoding on a horizontal/vertical decoder is performed in parallel and a decoding delay is half of an existing method. A metric is external information of a received signal about a horizontal/vertical code word. Decoding about each block is completed and decoding is performed by exchanging external information. Decoding about the horizontal/vertical, an updated signal vector is transmitted to an input for the next repetition.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A handover method of PMIPv6(Proxy Mobile Internet Protocol version 6) multicast traffic for a wired network in a ship is provided to reduce handover delay time by adding a multicast LMA(Local Mobility Anchor) for solving a tunneling overlapping phenomenon. CONSTITUTION: A multicast LMAA(LMA Address) is added to an MN(Mobile Node)-profile. The multicast LMAA is added to the MN-profile in an MAG(Mobile Access Gateway) in order to separate a normal LMA managing the unicast traffic of an MN from a multicast LMA managing the multicast traffic. Delay time due to a multicast group in a handover process is reduced by transmitting information related to multicast by using a PFMIPv6 message. A binding update procedure is executed by transmitting the multicast information of MN by using the message in the handover process.
