A main board is provided to decrease a price of the main board by realizing a multifunctional and multi-integrated main board in a thin thickness, as ICs are mounted on grooves of a multi-layer PCB(Printed Circuit Board). A multi-layer PCB(410) includes at least one groove. First and second ICs(420,430) are mounted on the groove and have a stacked shape. A molding(440) covers a lower face of the first and second ICs, and the groove. At least one electronic device(460) is integrated on the multi-layer PCB. A third IC(450) is mounted on the multi-layer PCB to seal the groove formed on the multi-layer PCB. The multi-layer PCB includes at least one insulation layer and conductive circuit pattern layers formed between the insulation layers and by penetrating the insulation layers. The first IC is combined by a solder ball inserted into a space from the conductive circuit pattern layer formed to the bottom of the groove.

A semiconductor package and a fabricating method thereof are provided to remarkably reduce a package occupying area by disposing auxiliary printed circuit boards in an empty space on a primary printed circuit board. A semiconductor package includes a primary printed circuit board(200) with a semiconductor chip(110) and the tallest one of active/passive devices(40,70), and a secondary printed circuit board with the remaining active/passive devices. The secondary printed circuit board has a through-hole through which the tallest device passes, so that the secondary printed circuit board is disposed on an empty space on the primary printed circuit board. The primary printed circuit board is electrically connected with the secondary printed circuit board by a bonding wire.
