Abstract:
상보적 램프신호를 이용하여 A/D 변환을 수행하는 ADC 및 이를 적용한 이미지 센싱 장치가 제공된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 이미지 센싱 장치는, 아날로그 픽셀값을 출력하는 픽셀, 픽셀에서 출력되는 아날로그 픽셀값을 샘플신호 앤드 홀드하여 샘플신호를 생성하는 S/H 및 S/H에서 생성된 샘플신호를 다수의 램프신호들과 비교하여 디지털화하는 ADC를 포함한다. 이에 의해, A/D 변환 속도를 증가시킬 수 있게 되어, 단위시간당 처리할 수 있는 픽셀값들의 개수 증가를 통해 고화질 영상을 지연 없이 제공하는 기틀을 마련할 수 있게 된다.

PURPOSE: An SHA (Sample and Hold Amplifier) for suppressing charge outflow at an internal device is provided to prevent the operation distortion of the SHA by suppressing the charge outflow at a switch which delivers an input signal to a charging device. CONSTITUTION: A switching unit (110) includes a plurality of switches (MN1-7, MP1-3), an inverter (I) and a capacitor (C1). The switching unit delivers an input signal to a charging unit. The charging unit charges the input signal delivered through the switching unit. A charge outflow suppressing unit (130) includes a micro-inductor (ML). The charge outflow suppressing unit suppresses the charge outflow at the switching unit.

상이한 타입의 트랜지스터로 픽셀을 구현한 이미지 센싱 장치가 제공된다. 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 이미지 센싱 장치는, 포토 다이오드의 출력 신호를 서로 다른 타입의 트랜지스터들을 통해 출력하는 픽셀, 픽셀의 출력 신호를 기준 신호와 비교하여 비교 결과를 출력하는 비교기 및 비교 결과에 기초한 출력 크기가 저장되는 메모리를 포함한다. 포토 다이오드의 출력 신호를 서로 다른 타입의 트랜지스터들을 통해 비교기로 출력하는 구조로 인해, 열 라인의 개수를 감소시켜 이미지 센싱 장치의 픽셀에 대한 레이 아웃 크기를 감소시킬 수 있음은 물론, 비교기에 마련된 트랜지스터의 개수를 역시 감소시켜, 이미지 센싱 장치의 비교기에 대한 레이 아웃 크기 역시 감소시킬 수 있게 된다.

PURPOSE: An analog to digital converter (ADC) for outputting a digitized sample signal after comparing a sample signal and a ramp signal and an image sensing apparatus applying the same are provided to increase an analog to digital (A/D) conversion speed two times faster than when exclusively using an existing up-ramp, thereby providing a high-definition image without delay. CONSTITUTION: A pixel (110) outputs an analog pixel value. A sample and hold (S/H) amplifier (120) generates a sample signal by performing a sample-and-hold operation of the analog pixel value outputted from the pixel. An ADC (130) digitizes the sample signal generated in the S/H amplifier after comparing the sample signal and multiple ramp signals. PURPOSE: An image sensing device implementing a pixel with two different type transistors is provided to output an output signal of a photo diode to a comparator through two different type transistors, thereby reducing the number of column lines. CONSTITUTION: An image sensing device comprises a pixel (110) to output an output signal of a photo diode (PD) through first type transistors (MN1, MN2) and a second type transistor (MP); a comparator (121) to compare the output signal to a reference signal; and memories (123,124) to stores an output size based on a result of the comparison. The pixel is a heterogeneous 3-Tr pixel and constituted with the PD, two N-channel metal-oxide semiconductors (N-MOS), and one P-channel metal-oxide semiconductor (P-MOS). CONSTITUTION: In a sensor device for an x-ray digital image, a digital image device for an x-ray, and a manufacturing method of the x-ray digital image sensor, a plurality of image sensors(260) comprises a photo diode having an area less than a predetermined value by reducing a photo diode area ratio per unit pixel area. A plurality of image sensors are corresponded to each pixel on a substrate. A micro lens(210) is bonded in the photo diode of the each image sensor. A scintillator is deposited on the micro lens to be a pixel.
