Abstract: PURPOSE: A touch screen system is provided to detect a capacitance change between an upper electrode and a lower electrode by touched pressure, thereby providing coordinates of a touched spot. CONSTITUTION: Upper electrodes(122) cross lower electrodes(102). Dielectric substances are interposed between the lower electrodes and the upper electrodes. A detecting circuit unit(150) is connected to the lower electrodes and the upper electrodes. The dielectric substances extract the location of a touch spot and information about the touch pressure.
