Abstract: PURPOSE: A cross member for installing an automatic transmission of a vehicle is provided to reduce the noise and vibration generated in the oil pump of an automatic transmission and amplified by a member body through a mount bracket through using a damping unit. CONSTITUTION: A cross member(100) for installing an automatic transmission of a vehicle comprises a member body(10) and a damping unit(30). The damping unit is installed in the member body and reduces the noise and vibration of a transmission. The damping unit is installed in the recessed groove(15) formed in the lower surface of the member body.
