CONSTITUTION: An exhaust-gas re-circulating system comprises an EGR(exhaust gas recirculation) line, an EGR cooler(150), a bypass line(160) and a 3-way valve set(170). Exhaust gas is re-circulated from an exhaust line to an intake line through the EGR line. The EGR cooler is installed on the middle of the EGR line. The bypass line bypasses the EGR cooler. The valve set is installed on the EGR line. The valve set selectively switches the flow of the exhaust gas to the EGR cooler or the bypass line.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A high-pressure fuel pump is provided to prevent the mixing of fuel and lubricant between a pump housing and a plunger by employing a sealing unit on the bottom of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A high-pressure fuel pump comprises a plunger(100), a high-pressure pump, and a sealing unit(112). The plunger is formed to reciprocate along the inner wall of a cylinder and driven with a driving member(130). The high-pressure pump varies the volume of a compression chamber according to the reciprocating motion of the plunger and pressurizes fluid. The sealing unit is extended along the bottom of a pump housing(110) to surround the exterior of the plunger in order to prevent the fluid of the compression chamber from being mixed with lubricant for the driving member. The sealing unit comprises a body which is pressed onto the interior of the pump housing and a flange part which is extended downward from the body to surround the exterior of the plunger.
