Abstract: PURPOSE: A high pressure fuel pump is provided to remove a tappet and reduce raw material costs since a cam directly varies the volume of a pressure chamber. CONSTITUTION: A high pressure fuel pump comprises a pump cam(110), a first elastic support(211), a second elastic support(221), and a pressure chamber/. The pump cam is placed inside the housing. The pump cam is driven by the cam shaft. The pump cam supplies fuel from the fuel tank to the pressure chamber. The pump cam discharges the fuel to a disparage port through a discharge valve. The first elastic support and the second elastic support are parallel to each other along the rotation track of a cam knob. The first elastic support and the second elastic support compress the outer surface of the pump cam. The pressure chamber is formed in a space which is sealed by the first and second elastic support and the pump cam.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A high-pressure fuel pump is provided to prevent the mixing of fuel and lubricant between a pump housing and a plunger by employing a sealing unit on the bottom of a cylinder. CONSTITUTION: A high-pressure fuel pump comprises a plunger(100), a high-pressure pump, and a sealing unit(112). The plunger is formed to reciprocate along the inner wall of a cylinder and driven with a driving member(130). The high-pressure pump varies the volume of a compression chamber according to the reciprocating motion of the plunger and pressurizes fluid. The sealing unit is extended along the bottom of a pump housing(110) to surround the exterior of the plunger in order to prevent the fluid of the compression chamber from being mixed with lubricant for the driving member. The sealing unit comprises a body which is pressed onto the interior of the pump housing and a flange part which is extended downward from the body to surround the exterior of the plunger.

Abstract: PURPOSE: Structure of a pulley of a water pump is provided to lengthen the life span of a timing belt by suppressing the temperature rise of the frictional portion of a pulley. CONSTITUTION: Through holes(34) of 6-8mm are formed in a belt mounting section(33) of a pulley(30) at a specific interval. When the pulley is driven by a timing belt(28), the frictional heat generated by the timing belt is emitted toward the inside of the belt timing section. Thus, the heat transmitted to the timing belt is reduced, and the durability of the timing belt is improved. Further, strength is reinforced according to the pulley protected from being overheated.
