Abstract: 본 발명은, 조향축이 연결되는 허브; 상기 허브로부터 방사상으로 연장되는 복수개의 스포크; 및 상기 스포크에 의해 결합이 지지되고, 코일 스프링이 원형으로 연장된 형상으로 구성되는 코일 스프링 타입의 림으로 구성된 조향 핸들을 제공한다. 본 발명에 의하면, 상기 림과 결합되는 상기 스포크는 끝단에 양단부에 단차진 끼움부가 형성된 연결부를 구비하여, 상기 끼움부가 상기 림의 중공 단면을 통해 끼워져 결합된다. 본 발명에 의하면, 조향 핸들의 림이 코일 스프링 타입으로 형성된다. 따라서 차량의 충돌에 의해 운전자가 윈드 실드를 향해 튕겨 나오면서 조향 핸들에 부딪히는 경우에, 림이 탄성변형을 하여 충격에너지를 흡수한다. 따라서 운전자가 조향 핸들에 강한 충격으로 부딪히는 경우에도 충격에너지를 조향 핸들이 흡수 가능하므로, 운전자가 부상을 입을 가능성을 최소화시킬 수 있게 되는 것이다. 또한, 본 발명에 따르면 림의 스프링 타입으로 형성되므로 경량화 및 원가절감이 가능하다.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A ventilating apparatus of a driving axle for a vehicle and an oil measuring device are provided to check the oil amount of a driving axle housing, and to prevent drain of oil in discharging air from the driving axle housing by connecting an air breather to an oil measuring pipe. CONSTITUTION: A driving axle ventilating and oil measuring system is composed of a vertical oil measuring pipe(31) penetrated through an axle cover(12) between a filler plug as an oil inlet and a drain plug as an oil outlet to display the oil amount of the axle; and an air breather(32) penetrated through the axle cover to suck or discharge air from the axle. The end of the air breather is connected to the oil measuring pipe, and an air cap(33) having an air filter is covered in the end of the oil measuring pipe. Oil in the axle housing is checked easily, and discharge of oil is prevented in discharging air.
