Abstract: PURPOSE: An emergency starting-up system and method are provided to start a fuel battery in an emergency by driving an air blower through the voltage of a low voltage battery and to improve reliability of a fuel battery system. CONSTITUTION: A fuel battery(10) and a high voltage battery(20) are connected to an air blower(40) in a row. An inverter(41) is connected to a high voltage bus unit(30) in order to rotate a motor of the air blower. A circuit(31) is formed between the air blower and the output terminal of a low voltage battery(50). A first relay(32) is installed on the circuit in order to control output voltage of the low voltage battery. A second relay(35) selectively controls a current flowing in a ground terminal.
