PURPOSE: A lift apparatus of an active hood system is provided to improve the safety and effectiveness by using the pressure of a compressed spring. CONSTITUTION: A latch device(120) is equipped in an engine room. The latch device locks and unlocks a striker. An elastic member(130) lifts a hood and is equipped between the striker and latch device. The latch device includes a base plate(121), a latch, a first stopper, a second stopper, a solenoid(125), and a spring. A base plate forms a reentrant groove in which the striker is inserted.

PURPOSE: A driving pattern adjusting method of a speed sensitive wiper is provided to drive the wiper conveniently by changing the driving pattern of the wiper according to the speed of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A wiper is driven intermittently according to driving pattern in an intermittent drive mode(S1,S2). An increase or decrease switch is decided in pushing a setting switch(S3,S4). The intermittent time interval of current speed is increased or decreased till pushing the setting switch once again in pushing the increase switch or the decrease switch(S5,S6), and set with the increased or decreased intermittent time interval in pushing the setting switch(S7,S8,S9). The intermittent time interval is adjusted within the range of current vehicle speed(S10). Driving pattern of the wiper is adjusted at driver's convenience by changing the intermittent time interval.

PURPOSE: A tire pneumatic pressure monitoring device and a method memorizing pneumatic pressure drop warning are provided to warn a driver of the pneumatic pressure drop of a tire if pneumatic pressure of the tire is below a constant value and to analyze states about pressure decrease warning later by memorizing pressure-measuring time and pneumatic pressure drop warning time. CONSTITUTION: A tire pneumatic pressure monitoring device for memorizing pneumatic pressure drop warning is composed of a pneumatic sensor(10) for measuring the pneumatic pressure of a tire and outputting a signal corresponding to a measured value; a transmitting unit(20) for converting and sending the signal output from the pneumatic sensor into a wireless signal; a receiving unit(30) for converting and outputting the wireless signal received from the transmitting unit; a first memory(40) for memorizing the position of the tire by the signal output from the receiving unit; a control unit(50) for judging the generation and level of warning by receiving the signal output from the receiving unit and sorting and outputting a correspondent signal stored in the first memory; a warning unit(70) for outputting a warning signal applied from the control unit to the outside; and a second memory(60) for memorizing the warning signal and warning states output to the warning unit.

CONSTITUTION: A variable resistance plate(10) has a circular plate shape and a variable resistance coating layer(10a,10b). A conducting terminal(20) is made of a conductive material and has a conforming shape with the variable resistance plate. Contacting portions(20a,20b) corresponding to the variable resistance coating layer are formed to input/output current to rotate the contacting terminal. An intermediate terminal(30) is positioned between the variable resistance plate and the conducting terminal. A plurality of conducting terminals(36) is provided to be connected to the variable resistance coating layer in one end and to the contacting portions in the other end.

PURPOSE: An airbag cushion for protecting a pedestrian is provided to maximize the performance for protecting the pedestrian by preventing the initial pressure of airbag gas, which is sprayed from an inflator, from being directly delivered. CONSTITUTION: An airbag cushion for protecting a pedestrian comprises a main cushion(20), a dispersion pocket(30), and a tether(40). The internal space of the main cushion is comprised of a plurality of division chambers(22). An inlet(31) and a plurality of gas discharging units(32) are integrally equipped to the dispersion pocket. The inlet receives the airbag gas from an inflator(1). The gas discharging unit discharges the airbag gas to the division chamber. Both ends of the tether are connected to the main cushion and prevents the main cushion from flowing.
