Abstract: The invention relates to a thermoplastic moulding composition comprising from 50 to 90% by weight of a copolymer A and from 10 to 50% by weight of a rubber B. The copolymer A is built up from 65 to 95% by weight of a monovinylaromatic monomer and from 5 to 35% by weight of an unsaturated dicarboxylic anhydride. The rubber B has a glass transition temperature, Tg, of /=200 DEG C. The moulding composition is used to produce mouldings.

Abstract: The invention relates to a thermoplastic moulding composition comprising a copolymer A and a graft copolymer B. The copolymer A makes up from 50 to 95% by weight of the moulding composition and is built up from a monovinylaromatic monomer and an unsaturated dicarboxylic anhydride as further monomer. The graft copolymer makes up from 5 to 50% by weight of the moulding composition and comprises from 20 to 80% by weight of an elastomeric graft base and from 20 to 80% by weight of a graft shell. The graft shell contains from 80 to 99% by weight of a monovinylaromatic monomer and from 1 to 20% by weight of an ethylenically unsaturated monomer containing at least one reactive terminal group from the series consisting of -OH, -SH and -NHR, where R is H, alkyl having 1 to 18 carbon atoms, aralkyl or aryl. The moulding composition may contain conventional additives and is obtained from a melt of component A with the graft copolymer B by reaction at temperatures of >/=200 DEG C. It is used to produce mouldings.
