    Abstract: Electrostatic toners containing a polymeric binder and, as charge stabiliser, a polyamine whose mean molecular weight is from 150 to 15000, where the nitrogen atoms are separated from one another by optionally substituted C1-C13-alkylene or optionally substituted phenylene and carry, as substituents, optionally substituted C1-C13-alkyl, phenyl, C1-C10-alkanoyl, benzoyl, C1-C6-alkylcarbamoyl, phenylcarbamoyl or a radical of the formula CO-L-CO, in which L is C2-C8-alkylene, crosslinking of two polyamine units resulting in the latter case, and the use of the abovementioned polyamines as charge stabilisers in electrostatic toners.
