The invention relates to a light material containing wood having an average density in the region of between 200 to 600 kg/m 3 , and which comprises, in relation to the material containing wood, A) 30 to 95% by wt. of wood particles, B) 1 to 25% by wt. of a filling material having a bulk density in the region of between 10 to 150 kg/m 3 , selected from the group consisting of foamable plastic particles and already foamed plastic particles, C) 0.1 to 50% by wt. of a binding agent, and optionally, D) additives. Said claimed material containing wood is characterised by the following relation between the d' values in accordance with the Rosin-Rammler-Sperling-Bennet distribution of the wood particles (A) and the particles of the filling material (B): d' of the particles (A) =2,5 OEd' of the particles (B).

The invention relates to a multi-layer molded body that contains lignocellulose, comprising A) a middle layer or a plurality of middle layers, which contain(s) particles that contain lignocellulose and which can be obtained by using a binder (a), and B) an outer layer or a plurality of outer layers, which contain(s) particles that contain lignocellulose and which can be obtained by using a binder (b), wherein the binder (a) is selected from the group comprising (a1) formaldehyde resins and (a2) an organic isocyanate having at least two isocyanate groups; wherein the binder (b) contains the following components: an aqueous component (I) containing (i) a polymer A, which is constructed from the following monomers: a) 70 to 100 wt % of at least one ethylenically unsaturated monocarboxylic acid and/or dicarboxylic acid (monomer(s) A1) and b) 0 to 30 wt % of at least one additional ethylenically unsaturated monomer that differs from the monomers A1 (monomer(s) A2), possibly (ii) a low-molecular-weight cross-linking agent having at least two functional groups, which are selected from the group comprising hydroxy, carboxylic acid and derivatives thereof, primary, secondary, and tertiary amine, epoxy, and aldehyde, an organic isocyanate having at least two isocyanate groups as component (II), and possibly a component (III) as an aqueous dispersion containing one or more polymers M, which are constructed from the following monomers: a) 0 to 50 wt % of at least one ethylenically unsaturated monomer that contains at least one epoxide group and/or at least one hydroxyalkyl group (monomer(s) M1), and b) 50 to 100 wt % of at least one additional ethylenically unsaturated monomer that differs from the monomers M1 (monomer(s) M2), and possibly common additives as component (IV), and wherein at least one middle layer (A) contains expanded plastic particles and possibly at least one outer layer B) contains expanded plastic particles, and the binder (b) possibly contains a formaldehyde scavenger.

Wynalazek dotyczy sposobu wytwarzania żywic melaminowo - mocznikowo - formaldehydowych zawierających do 0,9% melaminy, drogą reakcji a) mocznika, który zawiera od 0 do 10% wag., jednego lub większej liczby związków A, formaldehydu i melaminy w obecności zasady przy wartości pH od 7,5 do 11, w temperaturze od 20 do 120°C i pod ciśnieniem od 0,1 do 10 barów, b) następującej potem reakcji w obecności kwasu, który ewentualnie zawiera mocznik, i 0 do 10% wag. jednego lub większej liczby związków A, w temperaturze od 60 do 180°C i pod ciśnieniem od 0,1 do 10 barów i c) dodawania następnie mocznika, który zawiera od 0 do 10% wag. jednego lub większej liczby związków A, przy czym etap b) prowadzi się przy wartości pH od 4 do 5,9.

Disclosed is the use of wood-base to lower formaldehyde content in ambient air, where the wood-base materials (i) comprise polyamine as binder or (ii) comprise a binder other than polyamine and also, in or on the outer layers of the timber material, polyamine, and the molar mass of the polyamine is at least 500 g/mol and the polyamine has at least 6 primary or secondary amino groups and the polyamine is polyvinylamine and/or polyethylimine.
