    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly concentrated solid enzyme formulation containing only the enzyme and a stabilization support.SOLUTION: The solid enzyme formulation contains: (a) at least one particulate enzyme composition composed of at least one enzyme and at least one monovalent or divalent cationic organic or inorganic salt; (b) at least one particulate organic or inorganic support; and (c) at least one hydrophobic liquid mixture. The process for preparation of the solid formulations includes following steps of: spray drying or by spray drying and agglomeration of at least one enzyme-containing liquid. The enzyme composition contains an enzyme component selected the group consisting of xylanases, glucanases, and mixtures thereof wherein the enzyme component is present in a mixture with magnesium sulfate, wherein the magnesium sulfate fraction is present in a range of from about 5 to about 25 wt.%, based on the total weight of the dry enzyme composition. Obtained enzyme composition is mixed with the particulate inorganic or organic support. The enzyme/support mixuture is wetted with a hydrophobic liquid.
