Abstract:
Disclosed are expandable styrene polymers (EPS) containing, in relation to the styrene polymer, a) 0.05 to 5 percent by weight of an organic bromine compound containing a minimum of 50 percent by weight of bromine as a flameproofing agent, b) 0.05 to 2 percent by weight of a flameproofing synergist, c) 1 to 5 percent by weight of a metallic salt as an acid collector. Also disclosed is a method for producing said expandable styrene polymers.
Abstract:
A process for producing coated foam particles, in which an aqueous polymer dispersion is applied to the foam particles and is subsequently dried to form a water-insoluble polymer film, and also foam moldings produced therefrom and their use.
Abstract:
Abstract:
A process for producing foam moldings from prefoamed foam particles which have a polymer coating in a mold under pressure, wherein the prefoamed foam particles comprise from 10 to 70% by weight, based on the foam particles, of a filler, and also foam moldings produced therefrom and their use.
Abstract:
Moldable-foam moldings whose density is in the range from 10 to 100 g/l, obtainable via the fusion of prefoamed foam beads composed of expandable, pelletized thermoplastic polymer materials, comprising from 5 to 100% by weight of a styrene copolymer A), from 0 to 95% by weight of polystyrene B), and from 0 to 95% by weight of a thermoplastic polymer C) other than A) and B), and a process for producing the expandable pelletized thermoplastic polymer materials.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a process for producing foam moldings from prefoamed foam particles which have a polymer coating in a mold under pressure, wherein the polymer coating comprises an amphiphilic or hydrophobic organic compound, and also foam moldings produced therefrom and their use.
